Loved the water sports

Pros: Water Sports
You never know what it is really going to be like based on some of the reviews, but I happy to say it was very good for the price and we had a fun filled vacation. Room is fairly basic but clean, the bed was very comfortable and the maid left plenty of towels. The air conditioning was nice when returning from the heat outside. Food was very good for an all inclusive place, the best Restaurants are Morgan's Pier and Treetops. Bamboo was good, and buffet at Palms was so so. We really liked the jerk chicken paninis at Plum Tree grill for lunch or a late afternoon snack. Drinks were also very good. Beach is nice but the water is murky which is something that was disappointing for a caribbean resort. When we went out of the the bay on the hobie cats its much clearer. Really liked the all inclusive water sports, including water skiing. The Calypso Cat was full so we went on a tour with another boat from Castries harbor to Soufriere . It turned out better because the boat was larger and less crowded. Gym and Tennis facilities are excellent and they provide all the equipment. Like others we did not care too much for the restaurant reservation system, would have liked to eat at Tree Tops more than once. Another plus is that unlike other resorts there is no cards or signing for beach towels, it's so much simpler and you don't have to worry about leaving a towel on a beach chair. Staff are generally very nice and helpful.

great experience... Hotel, food and people

We had absolutely an amazing time. The workers were kind and very accommodating. The facility was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Beach was breathtaking. They offered endless activities it was just absolutely amazing and highly recommend this resort. Look forward to returning again.

Nice. The views breath taking

Upon arrival the staff present a form to sign withholding money from my credit card. ..totally caught me off guard....then went onnto explain that they are not liable for any accidentsaccidents or incidents that may occur. They have no life gurds...EVERYTHING IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK. THEY ARE NIT LIABLE!!!!! The kids loved it. The Kids club was Phenomenal. Juan and her staff are awesome with the children. The food was delicious. Some staff aasume you look like a native of the island and was not friendly.Need more entertainment on grounds. . Everything else is not bad

Mediocre at best

Nothing special .. Compared to Carribean hospitality, beaches, entertainment and food.. This place is mediocre.. For the price which is high. The management is surly and the dinner reservationists clearly responds to a monetary tip. Nothing is first come first serve.. Gratuity gains results in the St James Morgan Bay.

Disappointed

This hotel is at most a 2.5 star hotel. I arrived there and only stayed for one night and changed to another hotel called the Landings(definitely 5 star) the next day. Thank God I had purchased insurance with Expedia. The beach is very small and the water is not clear. Food was terrible. Rooms outdated and very basic. Had I not been able to change hotels I would have returned home much earlier than my 9 day planned trip. If you truly are looking for a 4 star hotel do not book this hotel. you will be disappointed!

Beautiful landscape, nice and clean beach and pool

Hotel is big and nice, food is great, water sport was excellent except costumer services needs improvements. Managers should pay more attention to their workers and we had feelings not enough staff especially in the restaurants to accommodate everybody needs.i have to wait for fresh fruits smoothly for 15min because person was in the kitchen doing something else then when she came back she was looking for blander another 10min. Next time I didn't even tryied again. Otherwise had good experience. Needs better internet too it was challenging to get in touch with family.

Beautiful views and ever so kind staff.

Location: Great location, easy to get to north of island and Castries.
This hotel was made great by its friendly and helpful staff who were above and beyond polite. They truly made our holiday fun and exciting by the amount of effort they all put in, from cleaners, bar tenders, leisure facilitators, grounds men and restaurant staff. Amazing place.

I am upset that Expedia had this hotel marked as 4 stars. I have traveled alot and been to many all Inclusive hotels. This is not even close to 4 stars. We had too many problems to even list here. What bothered me the most was the hotel was old. The vibe of the hotel was not relaxing at all and everyone that worked there seemed to be unhappy. The hotel employees never smile and they don't seem to like tourists. I do not recomend this hotel or this island. I have been to nicer islands and hotels for half the money. It will not feel like a vacation here. :(

Pros: The rooms were nice.
Everything was either average or below average. The highlight of our stay was by far our excursion on Calypso Cat. The crew was amazing and the best and only real employee interaction we had. However, you have to pay for the excursion. We had a suit, and that was nice. Internet Access: Only available in the lobby otherwise, you will have to PAY MORE MONEY. 1) You will have upgrade your room and pay more per night, 2) and Pay $55 USD per device for up to 5 days. That's right, per device. Just clear price gouging. Housekeeping Service: Non-existing. We were out all day and arrived to our rooms at 3:30 and our room was still not cleaned. The housekeeper knocked our door at 4:00 p.m telling us that she has to clean the room "now", we told her that we are in the process showering and changing as we were out all day. At 4:10 she came back rushing us, because she has to leave at 5. Ummmm why is my room being cleaned at 4 p.m.! Unacceptable. Reservations: Expect to wait an exceptionally long time for your food at the sit-down restaurants. I mean at least 45 minutes. Slow service and the food isn't that that great. Buffet Bar: Good tasty food. Actives To Engage Guests: Poor and surface activities with no originality or thought. Like Beach Volleyball and Beach Soccer. The "activity team" can use some organization and engaging ideas. Coffee Bar: You can order coffee, but you are not allowed to take the coffee to go--- you must drink your coffee at the coffee shop.... and
