St-Nicholas Vacations from $813

I stayed three nights here while in Cavendish to attend a wedding. The location is really good, but the property is very tired. It needs a lot of work but from what I saw, work did seem to be happening on some rooms. My room was dated and musty. Housekeeping attended my room while I was out on the third day, which was nice to have them spruce it up. They also knocked to offer the second day, but I was getting ready and declined. As was mentioned in another review, if you just need a place to just to shower and sleep, this is suitable. But if you plan to spend any amount of time in your room otherwise, I’d look elsewhere. I paid $163 per night and didn’t find value for that money in this property. I’d say $75-80/night would have been more appropriate of a price point for this accommodation.

This hotel was located within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. It was very clean, spacious, had a beautiful view of downtown Charlottetown and the staff was very friendly. The food in the restaurant was quite good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It was very clean but a bit tough for getting around the bed especially with a cane. Was fantastic for being able to be downtown and close to everything. But you gotta do something about being able to take alcohol to the rooms. A small tv for those that don't stay out at night would be a nice add on. Staff was helpful and nice. In discussions with other older customers a lot of them were not impressed. You should let people who book know about the parking situation.

A beautiful historic hotel, we found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, comfortable suite (ours had a kitchen) and loved that we could do laundry at the onsite laundry machines. We could walk everywhere in old Charlottetown, and parking was free at the hotel. I would stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone I know travelling to PEI.

Room was clean and eclectic in design. The whole heritage house was artistically designed. Breakfast had everything we needed: coffee, fruits, cereal, toast, muffins, yogurt, boiled eggs, and more. Parking was free. David and Helen were charming. They made us feel at home and certainly enhanced our visit to Charlottetown.
