Quiet relaxing appartments with stunning views .Posted Sep 30, 2017
Pros: Location and staff
Location: Stunning views of St Pauls Bay and country side, bustling seaside town short distance away (2 Km).
Appartment and location very satisfactory but Expedia had failed to inform the management of my booking and reservation so I had to find a hotel in the nearby town on my first night at my expense. After several telephone calls to UK to relatives to try and contact Expedia finally obtaining a Pheonix ,Arizona contact. In the meantime, fortunately ,a four bedroomed appartment became empty which the manager offered us providing he could get Expedia to agree payment.Phoenix finally contacted the manager and we were allowed to stay the rest of our holiday at 1600hrs,which meant we had lost a day and night of the holiday I had booked and which was confirmed during January.May I suggest that you clearly mark on all your correspdence a UK Customer Services telephone number and the telephone number of your local representative.

Indoor camping, glad no children in partyPosted May 5, 2013
Pros: View, location
Cons: Lack of hot water and other maintenance woes
Location: Noise audible (Fri/Sat eve) from St Pauls Bay but not an issue. Shooting range nearby.
Suite immaculately clean inside. 10/10 Structure of the building good, built to a high standard Beds good Views excellent. Maintenance leaves a great deal to be desired. Had to use a shoulder barge to open doors, door key took ages time after time to find exact position to be able to turn it (worn out) light bulbs were blown and more blew, no spares. Furniture (except beds) in poor condition, if very clean. Hot water awful. Kept blocking to a dribble, suggest unsuitable for children (use cooker to heat water). Similar report from couple in another apartment. Nowhere to put shower head on wall, no shower curtains, but pressure so low that showering ambitious. (Cold OK by Malta stds suggests not a supply problem) Telephoned the number provided by Expedia to confirm arrival, it is a v-m system, nobody was present when we arrived, apparently they didn't get the message. Could have emailed, use Wardija website. Washing up liquid, cloths etc not provided. There is a supermarket (Scotts) where you leave the main road and another in St Pauls on the main road (open 'til later). Credit Cards are accepted widely in Malta, except when the whole system fails. It was down for days. Site expensive for condition, which is a shame because with effort on maintenance it could be good. Expect to hire a car or use taxis, else anticipate uphill walk. A quick count indicated approx a dozen bookings listed in total Sept-April. ~25 apartments, so not much booked in last six months?
