"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cobblers. The room was comfortable, the hotel is right on the beach where there is lots of snorkelling and the afternoon tea was a nice touch. The staff are all friendly, gardens lush and the complementary 30 l minute trip to see some turtles was a surprise bonus. If I’m being super picky, the service at breakfast was a little slow and the room didn’t provide slippers but these are minor points"

"Sugar Cane and Spa was amazing! We took the all inclusive package and the food and drinks were incredible far better than most. It is definitely an older crowd and in a quieter area of the island but that did not bother us and it is not impossible to get around if you feel like exploring . The Hotel offers a free bus shuttle to the secluded and beautiful Heywoods Beach and Speightstown where they stop at a larger bus terminal that can take most places on the island. That being said not much is walkable, but if you’re just looking to unwind for a few days and escape the busier areas Sugar Cane is for you! We did not have a chance to use the spa services but they looked lovely and we really enjoyed the pool and Gully Walk. Amazing resort grounds and awesome staff would go back tomorrow! "

"What a special property this is. We are already planning a return to the island and to Monkey Puzzle Villa. This really is like a home from home except with much better weather, a hot tub and a few minutes walk to Mullins Beach. Marcia was the consummate hostess and even had a bottle of rum waiting for us when we arrived, which I appreciated. Cannot recommend this place highly enough."

"We had a wonder time, as we did when we stayed here last time. I was delighted to see that the host had upgraded the mattresses as I had suggested due to my daughter's cronic pain. Bathrooms were clean and functional, as was the kitchen. We ate in alot which saved $, and was possible because the kitche had all the equipment needed. And if there is something you need, just call Gabriel. He is terrific. We recommend this VRBO highly. I shoul also mentioned that a 10 minute walk taves you to a fablos beach (Heywoods beach) and town groceries,, restaurants and banks."

"This is an absolutely picture perfect flat down to the smallest details. The views are outstanding, the breeze kisses your skin all day and the birds sing to you whilst the sound of the lapping ocean sends you to another world The photos don’t do it justice. The beach is like your own private space. Sometimes you may see two other people or a small family, but most of the time it’s yours. Speightstown still has that original Bajan charm. The people are lovely and it’s quiet. There is an excellent restaurant across the street and two more down the road. There are shops for all your essentials in walking distance as well as a local fish market. The house manager, Sarah is extremely helpful and goes the extra mile. The flat has a great kitchen with everything you need to cook an excellent fish stew or any other dish I can’t recommend it more and I hope we will be able to return next year."

"Being opposite the Baia restaurant (which we knew beforehand) made the property noisier than expected due to traffic on the road below and reflected heat in the morning was an issue. I do acknowledge that the weather was extremely hot during our visit even by local standards."
