I loved being right on the beach, being attached to jet ski rentals (that give you the test/your boating license for $3 if you pass the test-This license lasts a year), I loved that I bundled my package & got free breakfast from the ON SITE restaurant daily ($25 off), I enjoyed that there was room service (though you have to pick up due to covid). There are arcades, washers/dryers/pool overseeing beach plus chairs to lay in right next to the beach line. There are towels available for pool as well as a separate bar from Jimmy's restaurant at the pool serving drinks. This hotel was very pricey but has a parking garage, its own restaurant, pool, arcade, boat rental & is in walking distance to the beach, the pier & all surrounding restaurants. We ended up paying about $1,000 for three days but the only other options were ghetto or extravagant ($1400/3 nights). We tried a cheap hotel first (The Seaside) & there was no running water in our room when we went inside. I'd say if I ever go back, I will pay more for the conveniences that come with the cost though I did get the last beach view room & my view was of the restaurant roof (don't rent on the second floor). It was definitely not a beach view. And my spouse could not hook up his Xbox to the internet the whole three days. If you need drinks, etc, buy it from the Dollar Tree or Walmart before you get on the Clearwater peninsula. Everything is overpriced but in walking distance. Driving is crazy due to ppl Xing. Must ride jet ski!
