Check in time was 3:00. We arrived at 2:15, plenty of parking with only 3 cars in the parking lot. We told the guy at the lobby desk that we had a reservation. He looked it up and said your check in time is 3:00 and would not let us check in early. We went back to our car and waited 45 minutes. Went back in and was given a room on the 3 floor. He gave us our room key cards and was told the elevator was broken and they were working on it. He pointed the we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with our bags in tow. The hallway and emergency exit staircase were clean as we walked up. The pool was filthy, thankfully it was to cold to use it. Got to the room and our key cards would not open the door. Had to walk back down the 3 flights of stairs and get the cards reset. Walked back up the 3 flights and entered the room. The room was clean but the 32 inch flatscreen was not what I expected. The next morning got up to shower. The bathtub slicker was loose so I had to be very careful not to pull up the shower valve. Because it was so loose, more water came out of the spicket then out of the shower head. Packed our bags and headed to the elevator. Guess what, the elevator was still out of order and were walked back down the 3 flights with our bags. The breakfast buffet was clean and food was good. Was really pleased with that since I was hungry from the cardio I got from walking up and down the stairs. Would I stay here again?

Supposed to be no smoking but clearly wasn't

The hotel was reasonably clean but smelled like smoke. Showere went from hot to cold then with varying pressure. Would not come back.

Was in for a wedding. Hitel location was perfect and hotel staff awesome and friendly.Hotel clerk, Carrie, was the best.

Was the leak bad?

The room was okay until the ceiling started to leak. I called the front desk to tell them that the ceiling was leaking. The guy at the front desk asked if the leak was bad. I responded that it was bad enough for me to call him and that water was dripping down the wall. He finally came to the room to check it and said that the kids in the room above me probably stopped up the toilet and it was flooding the bathroom. He tried a few times to contact the family in that room. In the meantime, he offered me another room. When he came to give me the new room key, he said that the toilet upstairs was not overflowing and that perhaps there were pipes that were leaking. I ended up changing rooms around midnight. So my stay was memorable, but not in a good way. I was happy to leave.

A nice small hotel in quiet neighborhood

We left as soon as we had discovered that our "moscito bites" were probably bed bugs (there was no insect in the room) .... This is unacceptable to me. The staff at the reception is very nice, Hotel is otherwise more than ok (clean, quiet, basic, good breakfast, very quiet neighbourhood, good location- a few minutes drive to Dunedin, 10 minutes to Clearwater Beach) .... Free parking, free wifi, nice outdoor pool
