Broken room A/C. Staff denial in spite of pics.

Pros: Impressive grounds, pool and beach.
Cons: Staff Response.
We stayed one night, for a 10 year anniversary celebration. Dined in the hotel restaurant, which we enjoyed. The hotel property was very nice overall, but our stay was completely overshadowed due to a failing A/C in our Gulf facing corner room King. Our room thermostat read 81 deg F upon our 1st of 3 complaints. The "staff engineer" insisted the system was fine, in spite of our thermostat reading. A ridiculous position. The desk manager promised to visit the room herself and call us with a response which never happened. Never happened! Unbelievable. Completely disappointed in the staff response. Upon our checking out the following morning, the temp in the room was still a miserable 78 Deg F. An unbelievable experience in an otherwise impressive property. We were compted for our breakfast the following morning, which we felt was a paltry offset given the inarguable condition of our room. Thermostat pics available.

Amazing hotel. Beach is gorgeous. good food!

Coming back soon! Best Florida trip ever! Free paddle boating from 8-10 am was an extra bonus. Staff lovely, everyone helpful.

Pink Christmas

Pros: We had a well appointed mini suite which was very good size, well maintained with a great little balcony.
Cons: Our daughter slept on the pull out couch which really could use a new mattress.
First time visit to the Pink Palace was for Christmas. Beautiful, historic property, decked out for Christmas. Friendly and efficient staff in all areas. Appreciated water being brought by to our beach chairs as well as the Christmas Eve cookie delivery! Everything is well maintained and felt special.

Don't like extra $25.00 per day charge added on just to use the pool. The price already is high because it is a luxury hotel. It's not like it is an option. Along with all the other perks you feel like you are being nickel and dimed. Why not just add it into original price of hotel? For example the extra $ 25 included 2 bottles of 50 cent bottled water each day in your room and half the time the staff forgot to leave it. Also each day different towels were left . Some days they forgot to leave bath towels, other days they forgot to leave wash Cloths . Adding the extra $25 per day for these things added an extra $300 onto my bill and I found it to be tacky and irritating. I used the semi private beach but never used the pool where the kids used the pool as a toilet and you were harassed to buy drinks every 10 minutes. Room too small. Bathrooms tiny. Otherwise, love the grandness of a historical hotel. Visually pleasing. Loved the "sugar sand",water, sunny days,perfect weather, great mattresses for restful sleep.

Excellent Hotel

Pros: The beach is gorgeous. Stunning sunsets.
Location: Downtown is about 10-15 min drive. Plenty of choices for food, drinks. Nice movie theater too.
We loved our stay here. Relax, clean, calm, and excellent service.

Hotel Doesn't Care

Great until final morning. No hot water at 7:10am called front desk said" someone else just called I'll sent maintenance up." Waited until 9:00am or so no follow up no maintenance no nothing. So we left. Sent a complaint email and got a stupid generic response "it was less than an hour" never apologizing for the terrible follow up or inconvenience. Staying in their most expensive room you would think they would at least try to pretend to care. When we were leaving others were complaining about room service, maid service, etc. Think the chain just doesn't care.

I stayed here 12/19 to 12/22/16. Great food, great service. Right on the beach. Two very nice pools.

Nice Hotel Terrible Management

Nice stay until final morning. No hot water called front desk at 7:20a. Desk tells us "you are second person to call we will check with building maintenance." We finally decide to leave at 9a with no word. Send an email to their customer service who sent bill and get a generic response claiming they had a water problem for less an hour but fixed it. Other than that everything was okay according to Loews. Not communicating with us what was going on (plus it was way over an hour) and not acknowledging fall down of front desk in following through shows they really don't care. We stay at a hotel for two primary reasons: a good bed and bathing facilities. They definitely don't show much concern about guest problems.

The hotel staff is not good service

Pros: I like the view and the pool
Cons: The service,especially the clearning staff
Location: The location is more quite than other beach,not much thing to do around there.
The hotel nice and private place to enjoy the view and relax,but the staff there service is not good. they are not friendly and welcome.Also when we check in they give us the room with no view,while we did pay extra money for the partial view,we have to request them to change. The clearning staff is not doing a good job,before we went out for lunch we put up the sign made up room,when we came back it not clean yet,so we have to call the front desk request them for the cleaning,so we have to leave the room go to the beach and to the pool,but when we came back the room is not finish cleaning,we have to wait out side the room at list 10 to 15 minute. I am not happy with their service,so how can I recommend to my friend.
