Overpriced for the accommodations. We pay resort fees for what? Most of the cheap hotels give you free coffee 24 hrs a day and this resort offered only free tap with restrictions. Very disappointed

Check in here was a complete joke. Rumfish front desk tells me I booked a "Bluegreen room" and puts me on a goftcart ride down the street to a timeshare. I wait in line 20 minutes to be told I am in fact booked at Rumfish. Shuttle back to Rumfish and given no excuse as to how the confusion. I asked for upgrade to queen beds and was told free upgrade given only to find out we got a free balcony but still in double bed rooms. Zip line closed due to wind, property to wide spread to enjoy any convenience of amenities. Hair in the shower when we arrived. We will not return.

The staff was wonderful- friendly and helpful. The location is great as it’s right on the beach and there are also pools to swim in. The food was good, but over priced. The service in the restaurants was excellent. Our room was nice and had everything we needed. It was basic, not fancy but worked out well for us. It was great having access to the other hotel as well for the activities. If I were to make a few suggestions, I would say- have a few more kids activities at Rumfish like pool games, give a few coupons to guests for the restaurants (even $5 off goes a long way) and update the bathroom, particularly the shower faucet. Overall, I would definitely return here!

there were activities every day, parking was easy, free beach chairs/shade. staff were friendly. the room was clean. there were a few things that could use update or replacement, but it was due to the high usage and the humid salty air, not neglect.

You could tell the rooms are not cleaned after a visit. Once you shut the bathroom door there is thick dirt and buildup along with the rest of the bathroom having hairs and stains. The carpet was wet and the $500 room smelled of cigarettes, alcohol and room deodorizer that was obviously used to cover the other smells. I would say the room itself might be worth $80 tops for ocean view but would never in a lifetime pay $500 for what was presented to us. You pay an extra fee for the amenities so that’s an additional charge to what our room was.

The resort is lovely. The private beach is amazing! The entertainment is geared mostly for young children but they do have pickle ball and volleyball courts for older kids. The food is very expensive but the rooms do have kitchenettes to make snacks in the room. Overall it is a great resort in a great location.

We wanted to try this resort as we have stayed in the original resort next door. First the amenities are great! The kids loved everything they could do which gave me time to relax on the beach. The room: it was great for the price and what we expected. The issue we had was noise. The refrigerator ran all night with a hum. Then came all of the outside noise. They get quite a few deliveries early in the morning which means back up beeps and the banging of the pallets and whatever else they receive. If the front rooms had better soundproof it would not have been an issue. Bottom line is we didn’t sleep very well. Staff: Front desk associate was nice and they have you step over to another line to get your arm bands and parking pass. I thought this was strange. We went in that line and the nice lady gave us our wristbands and then went on a sales pitch to join their club. I declined and then received my parking pass. Pool staff (bartenders and restaurant staff) were ok. They seemed rushed all of the time. I saw a kiddo spill his drink and the waitress commented “use two hands next time”. Lastly, I suggest not to mow the grass by the pool during pool peak time. It was just odd to see an employee walk up with a push mower while guests were sitting their. They looked perplexed as did many. Once again the amenities were awesome! Kids will be busy for sure!!!!! Cheers

I found the rooms and the building to be old and not very well kept. Beds were not comfortable and pillows were terrible. There are options for pools, but they are all the same and very plain. Extra amenities like water slide and zip line available, but condition of both were not very good. Would not stay here again. The beach was beautiful though and water was lovely.

The room was extremely small, and extremely noisy until 3am. I paid over $600. Convenient to stores, close to beach, and alot of amenities for the extra $160.00 charged after arrival. I've been to RumFish several times and loved it, but they cater to Time Share customers and potential buyers now, and I will be staying elsewhere. I am local and bummed that this 4th visit in a year ruined our favorite place.

We loved all of the different activities that the resort had to offer. We loved that you could go back and forth between the two resorts. What we didn't like was that you had to pay for certain things that we felt should've been included in the resort fees. For example, the front row beach cabanas and the chairs that were closer to the ocean. We liked that the resort set up "rainy day" activities but did not like that there was more cost involved in some of those. Our room was nice with a nice view and comfortable beds. However, our couch was not in great shape. There was an iron burn/mark on one of the cushions and a pretty good size hole in one of the arms of the couch. I feel like the resort should have had that taken care of before another guest stayed in that room as it gave a perception of an unkempt room in an otherwise nice hotel.

We liked the size of the resort. I never felt like we were surrounded by people, and everything was easily accessible. The staff were very friendly and made adding an additional night to our stay very easy, ensuring we didn't have to switch rooms. Our favorite- the cabana included with each room! It was a great beach experience. The only thing we didn't really like were the prepaid Visa cards. They became tough to use if you didn't know exactly how much was on your card because the staff couldn't tell.

Our room was a mess. Our hairdryer didn’t work nor did our shower. Was only given 2 towels for a 5 person room . Had to call for bedding and pillows

I liked that there were two properties that you had access too. If I was staying longer, I would book a better room than just a standard room. We were only there for two nights, so didn't really get to explore all of the property. The property has plenty to do and many options for dining. It is also close to many other restaurants. What I liked least was, the room we stayed in had a refrigerator that froze our water and soda. The shower was also hard to turn on and off. The shower nozzle was already pulled out and you had to keep turning it until it would turn on and the same for turning it off. You could also hear your neighbors like they were right next to you.
