Seen in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Salvador Dali Museum is a pretty cool place indeed!
This is a shot of the helical staircase inside. Dali was obsessed with spirals especially the shape of the DNA molecule. This smallish museum packs a big punch and is very active and engaging with the community as well as its out of town visitors. Also a great place to have a private event.

We went on a Sunday which is apparently the busiest day of the week.
The Architecture -
The Building was designed by architect Yann Weymouth and was designed to North Shore Park in downtown St Pete - today we saw a dolphin and in the past we have seen manatees as well - various events and concerts throughout the year/exercise paths/tennis courts/swimming complex/beach/kids playground and this beautiful view means there is something for everyone to enjoy here #endlesssummer #waterlust #AquaTrove
A novel way for museum goers to dispose of their admission bracelets. This isn't the coolest picture, but there's just something about this tradition that touches my heart. This is a Dali Wish Tree outside of the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. After visiting the art museum, visitors can tour the grounds and leave behind their wrist bands on the Dali Wish Tree. Seeing all the bands makes me wonder what all the others before me wished for. I hope their wishes come true! At the Municipal Marina in Downtown St Petersburg, Florida
#Sunrise St. Petersburg, Florida never popped up on my radar until I was visiting friends over the summer. Recently, my friends and I graduated from PT school and moved all over the country/state, so it was wonderful to visit them in a place I've never been. The Dali Museum totally surprised me! I visited the museum in Barcelona, which included more of his works, but this was also exciting to visit. Definitely a place to check out if you ever make it to the Florida west coast. #localgem #roadtrip I moustache you a question but I'm shaving it for later !
I know, I know... I hear your groans. It's an Oldy but a ... well an oldy anyway.
The Dali Museum has this GIANT representation of Salvador's flamboyant View from inside the museum cafe (I recommend the Gazpacho)
A pleasant surprise! The #Dali #museum is absolutely worth the price admission. The grounds and #architecture are as thoughtfully curated as the artwork. Perhaps a little crowded but what a ridiculous complaint...too many people want to look at beautiful #art in a beautiful #building. What a world we live in ✌️ St. Petersburg has multiple miles of bay-side biking and walking trails. There is also parks with sculptures like this one, playgrounds, basketball courts, and even a public swimming pool. We had such a blast riding bikes along the water! Charming bits of History, Design, & Nature combine for a Lovely walk around Greenwood cemetery and the encompassing Roser Park Neighborhood. A great suggestion from St Petersburg's own Buffalo Gal Designed to withstand a category 3 hurricane, the new home for St. Petersburg's Dali Museum ( home to a very impressive and costly collection of artwork by surrealist Salvador Dali) uniquely highlights the Spanish painter's talents and interests. Even if you're not a fan of the Surrealist Movement, this building, including a spiral helix staircase inside, is impressive. Designed by architect Yann Weymouth of HOK, the building combines the rational with the fantastical: a simple rectangle with 18-inch thick hurricane-proof walls out of which erupts a large free-form geodesic glass bubble known as the “enigma”. The “enigma”, which is made up of 1,062 triangular pieces of glass, stands 75 feet at its tallest point.

Passed by this hotel while on business in St Petersburg, FL. It was so cool looking, I had to turn around and take a photo of it. Don't know much about the hotel other than it looks a little run-down and crazy old. We got to experience the waterfront in St. Petersburgh near the Pier today. Gorgeous day with farmers market, race, sailing, and planes taking off near the Dali Museum. Great food and atmosphere!!! 10 sake bombs lined up and ready for nine of your best friends! Sake Bomb 2.0 is a fun place for group interactive drinking. They also have some pretty cool wall art that rotates on a regular basis so it is always fresh. No food but they let you order in.
#cocktail 🍹 A smaller museum with an impressive Dali collection. I recommend the audio tour which is free (included with admission).
