Very nice and clean hotel with pool. The hotel was close enough to St. Pete downtown area. Just 30 mins from Clearwater beach.

Nothing specialPosted Apr 26, 2016 on Hotels
We were visiting family and this hotel was located very close. Free breakfast was a plus. Staff was very friendly. This was an okay place. Nothing special but it met our needs.

Stay at 2233 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater, Fla.Posted Mar 21, 2016 on Hotels
Every thing was pretty good except for a few things which one of those was maid service coming at 9 o'clock in the morning. How would you like to be on vacation and have someone knocking on your door that early? The breakfast was held from 6am to 9 am. this is fine for a business trip, but for a vacation it is not a good thing. Breakfast should end at least no earlier than 10 am. A guy on his own can do it , but if you have a wife it is difficult at best so you wind up carrying everything back to your room to have breakfast. Simply does not make any sense to me. Hopefully these things would change for us to stay there again, but the room was great and it was very spacious. Welcoming agent was not very friendly. Most of them were great and very helpful, but one in particular was not the best. It seemed like we were an inconvenience to her, but she may have been a bit rushed and was just in a bit of a turmoil. One other thing was the breakfast themselves, they were of poor quality, especially those dried up eggs and those antique toasters that should be sold at auction. i think you need to put out more fresh fruit as when we got there, I guess most of it was already taken. We went up to the Cracker Barrel to eat in as many times we ate at your hotel. The Cracker Barrel was a necessity for us because of your early closing of the breakfast menu. Your hotel prices should reflect a compromise in prices if you don't or can't use these facilities.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights and everything was overall great. The breakfast buffet was a bit shabby as far as variety and the waffle batter and coffee were not always stocked. But we managed to eat and not have to buy breakfast next door at Panera.
