We loved our suite, it feels like we r at home, it was huge, with dinning table and the kitchen and bathroom were beautiful and large size bathrooms and beds were very comfortable. We will go again. The restaurants were walking distance and excellent

Pros: Clean nice sized rooms with kitchen Bright and comfortable
Cons: Remodel common areas
Location: Great location across from public beach
Needs remodeling. Lobby is old with warn furniture With new hotels being built in the area The Hyatt needs to freshen the hotel decor They need more lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach

Great location, beautiful views

We loved our suite, more like a condo than a hotel room. Had the gulf front terrace, it was huge, with dining table, sofa, chairs, room for 6. The kitchen and bathrooms were beautiful, beds very comfortable. Our only complaint was that when hotel was full, housekeeping service was very backed up and furniture on terrace was weather worn. Otherwise, will definitely return!

Pros: The on-site restaurant,SHOR, serves excellent food with a friendly, well-trained staff and served a delicious meal. my party of 4 dined their twice
Cons: Housekeeping should be daily, not on-demand. Front office staff need to communicate better regarding charges pending or actual. Parking was a mess.
Location: A short walk to the beautiful beach. Quick drives to area restaurants but also Tampa, St Pete or Tarpon Springs. Or stay poolside which is very nice.
The hotel is well situated on Clearwater Beach. It is a lovely facility but not everything runs smoothly. Check-in went well until the bell man noticed that our room wasn't ready. We waited for the room change which was nice with a mediocre view of the adjacent parking garage. The change in room gave us a key that would not work in the parking garage. The issue didn't get resolved the first time with a re-keying but after a 2nd time. I asked and received a credit for 2 days parking but after I complained for the 2nd time. The front staff asked for a credit card at check-in to hold $300 for incidentals. I paid for the entire stay upfront through Expedia. They then added a $340 ($640 total) hold to my credit card because the initial amount didn't cover the parking and resort fee. That was another discussion that took 2 people to explain what the charges were for. No one cleared that we me at check-in or any other time. Once they have your cc number they can add charges without your permission. I got tired of the apologizes. When staying in a slow week be mindful that maintenance issues occur. They were notifications regarding software updates regarding the billing. And a loss of water (overnight) and hot water for 2 hours but it took many hours to get hot enough to use. But the time we checked the garage gate systems was completely non-functioning. Lots of "Sorry for the inconvenience" but no change in charges for your resort or room fees. Nice, clean room.

Very Nice Hotel

This is a great hotel on one of the best beaches. The restaurants were all excellent and all of the staff was great. The only thing I might complain about is the price charged for parking. Otherwise, we plan to return to Clearwater Beach and the Hyatt.

Pros: the personal attention i received in both of our stays
Cons: sorry to say but it is a little pricey.... i don't have a reference on the "other" hotels, but we had a great experience
Adam's help personalizing the room was perfect! one year prior we spent our wedding night and now our 1st year anniversary, thank you everyone for the exceptional service!

i will stay there again the room was just like a 2 bedroom apt overlooking the gulf
