Service is phenomenal however rooms lack certain features you would expect at this price point. Very few drawers for unpacking, no in room safe, no makeup mirror and the tub/shower is so deep that it borders on unsafe. The pool on 8th floor has breathtaking views of ocean and furniture super comfy. Location is close to Pier 60 and the beach is beautiful

Nice place to spend an extra long weekend. Easy walk to many locations. The 1 bed bedroom suite was comfortable and spacious. Also very clean and the bed/bedding was incredible.

This was our first trip to Clearwater & our first Hyatt Regency experience. The Hyatt resort was beautiful. It was clean, very well appointed, and the staff was phenomenal. Its restaurant, Shor, was absolutely delicious -- we enjoyed dinner there one night and their breakfast buffet a couple of mornings. Clearwater Beach was just gorgeous -- sugar sand and warm tourqoise water. Hyatt's location was perfect -- easily walkable to several restaurants, bars, music venues, grocery stores, and Clearwater's famous Pier 60. Saving the best for last: the sunsets in Clearwater cannot be beat. Some of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

We have stayed in Clearwater Beach in the past by this visit was great at the Hyatt I’m very disappointed with Expedia for not handling all the fees included in our package We did not appreciate the almost 300 bill after our stay

People working there are not very friendly, too long for wait times from Valley parking , front desk need to more mature and more friendly, Coffee shop attendant did not want to be at work at all, bad service, Hyatt Regency is a higher class hotel but this hotel did not reflect that

The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa exceeded all expectations! Every staff member was helpful and courteous. Hotel room was beautiful and spacious with an incredible view. I absolutely loved the key card bracelet...genius! Beach: gorgeous. Food: beyond delicious! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this resort!

We stayed here for spring break with my son who is 6yrs old. There is so much to do just on site at the pool area. Along with the beach just 2 minutes away (walking distance). The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly right on arrival. Offered us champagne and apple juice for my son. The room was magnificent! We had two balconies of two different views. The full kitchen and deep bathtub was a plus too. We have already said we will definitely be back again! Keep in mind there is a small market next door for easy grocery shopping as well. Just BOOK IT ALREADY, you will not regret it!!

This is a very nice property directly across from the public beach. The city of Clearwater rents chairs and cabanas for about $35-45. The convenient thing is you do not need cash or card bc they are able to charge directly to your room. Inconvenient: the rentals are only until 5pm. The beach is very clean and beautiful. The pool area is on the 8th floor. It is nice and clean with a great view of the gulf and the sunsets. Unfortunately, they play very loud music at the pool so I did not find it relaxing. Towels are available everywhere but you have to have your towel card or employees get an attitude. When you check-in they ask you what level of room service you want. Most of the staff was friendly but don’t expect anything above and beyond. The concierge desk never had anyone staffing it so you I had to go to the front desk. I gave it 4 stars bc it met my needs: clean and gulf front.

We were in this hotel five years ago but the Cleanliness was not as it was! The hotel looks so old and rundown overall ! I am not sure why the ratings are still high but maybe the standard of hotel is low!

Easy access to the beach. Great views, easy park and walk to shops and restaurants. But there is a bar the plays load music all night. That was hard with toddler who has an early bedtime. Other than that it was a great spot.

We had a wonderful stay during my daughter’s college spring break. We were pleased with the reduced cost of beach chairs/ umbrellas. Food options were great and our room was amazing with large balcony with ocean view! The only negative was trying to coordinate a rental car. They do not have a concierge service to help with that type of need. Otherwise, it was a very nice stay with Champaign offered at check in, and every other need/service accommodated.

The property is dated, but our room was spacious. Bellman and reception lines were always busy so if we needed anything we needed to go down 12 floors and ask for it. Everyone was polite. That said, the price we paid for our was ridiculous for the condition of the hotel. Huge plus is that the hotel is right on the beach

This resort was wonderful. The facility was beautiful. The rooms were clean and modern. Staff was friendly and attentive. The pool is on the roof of the 8th floor, heated with fountains. There are free pool snacks offered all day, as well as a small restaurant at the pool that will deliver food to your chair. The hot tub is on the roof of the 16th floor. It is very small and very HOT, and the balcony up there offers amazing views. SHOR restaurant in the resort was pricey but delicious. There is direct access to Clearwater Beach right out the back door of the resort. You can walk to many attractions in Clearwater from the resort. Just be aware that there’s a ~$35/day resort fee and it also costs ~$35/day to park in the parking garage, so there are additional fees to look out for. Otherwise, this was a fantastic resort and I would definitely stay here again.
