It's For GolfersPosted Nov 24, 2015
Pros: Quiet. Beautiful grounds. Nice comfortable rooms/suites. Security. Great golf and facilities overall. Great fitness center.
Cons: Food and Beverages prices are very high. Enough to drive you off property. Bars at night populated by nearly all men who are there to play golf.
Location: It rained all weekend. Nothing outdoors was an option. The weather was a disppointment
I have wanted to stay at Innisbrook since I visited the property on business 35 years ago. I don't think it has quite the same unique charm it did then; but it is still a great property for golfers wanting a golf getaway week or weekend. I did not play, but the courses looked terrific. My wife does not play; and I cannot say I would recommend it for a romantic weekend. The poor weather we experienced for our two night stay was the only real negative factor -- not something they can control. Very quiet and peaceful. Restaurants -- Nice but very pricey. Did not like $14-plus for a Grand Mariner on the rocks -- that's a bit over the top.

Nice hotel close to our son's home.Posted Nov 15, 2015
Pros: The relaxing atmosphere and the tranquility of the grounds in a big city impressed us.
Cons: Chair lifts on the stairs could help the handicap, since there are no elevators for us old folks that have bad knees.
Location: We went for a healthy breakfast at First Watch, 3 days in a row. Sweet Tomatoes was great , too.
We were impressed by the wonderful service and friendly people that were working there to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. We weren't able to partake of all the facilities, because we had a lot of family gatherings. We were so impressed that we inquired about purchasing a property there before we left.

Nice resort far from the beachPosted Oct 19, 2015
Pictures make this resort look way nicer than it is. It has dated buildings and decor, although the room was clean and bed was comfortable. The patio off our room was a little dirty and the furniture was uncomfortable. Resort is 20 mins from honeymoon island/beach with a free shuttle service from the resort and 30 mins from Clearwater beach by car/cab. Pretty far from shopping and restaurants. All services and food on the resort is pretty expensive. We ate at Packard's (a nicer restaurant) at the resort one evening and it was dated, had poor service, and almost all the food was bland. We were disappointed as the bill was over $170 for a mediocre dining experience. The Lockness pool area was very nice. Very beautiful grounds in a gated area.

Comfortable condo golf resortPosted Oct 4, 2015
Stayed here for a wedding weekend. Resort is clean and well maintained. Aging decor but comfortable. Sprawling grounds with convenient tram; however, the tram could take about 30min for pick up. It is much better to have a car, there is plenty of parking. Beware that there are NO elevators and NO umbrellas to borrow or even buy. Which is really strange because it is a golf resort. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The condo was well stocked but bottle water was $2 each, best to buy a case from the local supermarket. Would stay here again and beautiful grounds for events.

Weekend GetawayPosted Sep 28, 2015
My daugter & I went here for a spa trip. People should know this is NOT a hotel it is a resort in the vein of Hilton Head/Sea Pines. We stayed in at "suite" which was in actuality a condo w/ kitchen. It was spacious & comfortable. The building is 3 floors w/ no elevator which was no issue for us, but might be for some. My only negative is the pillows & bed were a little uncomfortable.
