When I tried to book with the hotel directly via phone, Jeff said 80% of guests book via Expedia & to do that. When I said I wanted to still book directly, he said he didn't have time because he was booking a group. Upon check in, everything seemed ok though I had to ask basics like what time is breakfast, where is the gym, etc. Because I travel so often, I asked about rewards & eventually signed up though had I not asked repeatedly, I wouldn't be enrolled. When I asked to extend my stay, Mindy assured me she'd handle it yet the next day, Jeff couldn't find my request even though it had been debited from my credit card. Ditto the next day. Paid Danny $2 cash for water then he billed my card on file & took 48 hours to remove the charge. In general, Danny was on the rude side especially when I had billing questions all of which he blamed on my bank of 25+ years. Repeatedly found the breakfast area / food stations messy, lacking napkins & just pretty shabby in terms of offerings and taste. The other gal who works overnight until 7am seemed more interested in her smart phone than guests & even wore her personal phone's headset as she reclined in the lobby. The ONLY slight upside of my entire stay were the kind housekeepers who actually never serviced my room but at least smiled at me in the hallway. Before anyone even tries to imply I'm being negative because I want something for free, read my local Google Guide & Facebook reviews for restaurants, lodging etc. ALL are favorable.
