Good for one night

I ask for a crib and disability room, nothing happen and the elevator was broken so my husband have to carry to the second floor the weelchair and my son. It was clean but the neighborhood around doesn't look safe. Good for one night only.

You'd be better off sleeping in your car

What a dump. The property is very old. The front desk clerk could barely tear herself away from a conversation to check me in and did so by, sliding the registration form to me and saying "sign this". The toilet leaked all night the first night. The bed was like sleeping on a concrete floor. But the best part is this: I had requested a smoking room. The room I was assigned REEKED of smoke. I was a little puzzled at the lack of an ashtray, but given the overall condition of the hotel it wasn't a complete surprise. I went to Walmart and got a can of Ozium, that at least made the room livable. What WAS a complete surprise was getting charged $150.00 after I left. When I called to inquire I was informed that I was charged a cleaning charge for smoking in a non-smoking room. EXCUSE ME? The room reeked of smoke? The person on the phone said that the registration said it was a non-smoking room. We went back and forth for awhile and she condescendingly called me "dear" when telling me for the third or fourth time that the registration said it was a non-smoking room. She terminated the conversation by hanging up on me. I called LaQuinta Customer Service and told my tale of woe and they are supposed to call me back. That was yesterday. The customer service person was very professional, quite unlike that of the staff of this property.

Oldie but goodie.

Stayed there as a convenience to airport flight in morning. Greeted warmly at check in . Place was sold out, glad we had reservations thru Hotel.com . Room was on 3rd floor. Somewhat noisy as door was directly on outside of building .

Nice hotel.

Room was extremely clean. For the price I am very satisfy with everything including the easy check in, the room and the proximity with the beach. I will definitely come back soon.
