Nice beach

Pros: Super outside amenities Fine restaurants. Loved sitting by fire pit in evening and meeting other guests.
Cons: Microwave in room would be nice.
Location: Must drive to attractions but on a nice beach.
Pleasant,quiet beach front but must drive to outside activities.

Pros: The amenities that were available and it was good for those with families - just not REAL small children.
Location: IF being away from a lot of commericalism is what you're seeking, then this location will be a good one. You'll require a shuttle otherwise.
though a little out of the way from the activity going on at the pier ... pier 60 in particular. The shuttle trolley, which is about $5 for an all around pass wasn't very reliable or on time. the facilities at the hotel were good ...though with small kids, it was a 1/4 walk through the sand to the beach and water. The golf cart shuttle wasn't available after 6:00 pm though it was advertised to be until about 8:00 pm. After 6:00 pm there was no way to call for a return shuttle trip back up the beach.

Very clean hotel right on the beach.

Room was small with terrible view. I would have liked more places to walk to for food and entertainment but otherwise stay was great. Staff was awesome, Easter activities were wonderful, activities for kids were plentiful and it was a relaxing get away!

I am concerned that you might not have been informed that there are many places to dine and shop, just a walk across the street there are many options. There are also two trolley systems which are inexpensive and will take you the 2.0 miles to Clearwater Beach for so many more options.It is gratifying to read that your experience with our associates was very positive. Their concern is for your satisfaction and their attention to detail is obvious and shows that they genuinely care. Their goal is to provide you with an effortless and positive experience. This is the place to come enjoy relaxation therapy at it's best.Their favorite time of the year is preparing for the Easter festivities and it is always a delight to hear our guest enjoyed their efforts, hopefully enough to return next year.

Great hotel! On the beach with a great staff!

Took my 3 children here bc we wanted a pool, beach & warm weather! They loved the pool & the hot tub was HOT!! (Maybe a few degrees too hot some nights but whatever!) The beach is a quarter mile walk from hotel to the actual water... But they just started a free shuttle service so it was wonderful. Rooms aren't cheap but if you get a view it's great to watch the ocean & drink your coffee on the balcony. Only negative was Mainstay Tavern on site seemed slow & disorganized. Waitress was not friendly until manager came over to assist. He was great. Everything else was awesome!

I do apologize that is not the service you received; this time of year it sometimes does become overwhelming, which truly is not an excuse. I do hope there were some memorable moments made during your Spring Break, it is a beautiful, relaxing and fun island to visit. I have noted your comment regarding the pricing of our hotel and your room view; our rates are very competitive with the same category hotels of the area. Something to keep in mind for a future stay, hotel room rates fluctuate depending on the level of business, seasonality and events in the area. Usually, during periods of low activities the rates may drop significantly. We do hope you will return.

Accessible & Clean

Sheraton Sand Key Resort has the most accessible beach located in their property out of any hotel on the strip. Very clean, with great views. Recommended especially for families.

Yes! you can totally enjoy the beach it is large beautiful and private and you can do so without moving your car, there are no parking fees, no stress just relaxation therapy at it's best. Family hotel on beach - needs renovating

The hotel is on the beach and that is a huge plus. I believe each room has a balcony - also a huge plus. the food, staff and services do not measure up to the price charged to stay there. The hotel is in need of repairs and the rooms, halls, elevators were in need of cleaning. Food choices extremely mediocre.

Not meeting our goals and your expectations is very disappointing. Concerning customer care; it is amongst our highest priorities, you certainly should have been treated with the warm, caring and efficient attitude our associates are known to give and I sincerely apologize that was not the case. We are a casual beach resort, which is a great place for families with its private and beautiful beach where you can easily keep a watchful eye on your children and supervised poolside games. It is a place children are able to use their imaginations and enjoy Mother Natures offerings. This time of the year with the constant influx with of families which we totally enjoy, our Housekeeping staff does their best to keep the rooms and the hotel refreshed and clean. Though we renovate constantly we are still an older hotel and there is always more to be done. Please trust that our rates are very competitive compared to the other hotels in the area. I do hope many memories were made.

stay away from this place

They told me because I book through Expedia they make sure they give the good rooms to other people and not to you I had the worst experience the room next to the pool next to the lobby where you can hear every single noise I request a different room but they say they cannot do it they asked me to book with the hotel directly next time so this would not happen
