O.K. for a dayPosted Nov 24, 2015
Cons: Pick up full, stinky, trash can next to the elevator. It was left for days; we had to cover our noses to get on the elevator.
The Beachview hotel is trying to compete with the highrises and it can't. I wonder when it will be torn down to have a 15 story hotel take it's place. Clearwater Beach is not a place where I'd like to go again. The so-called High End hotels are making the beach inaccessible to anyone other than the rich. Traffic is horrendous. The whole coast is ugly with condos too. You can't see the Gulf. Next hurricane you're all gone! You have to pay alot of money just to park ANYWHERE on the beach. Come-on. Give me a break. Very unfortunate, but I have to go to that area because my sons live closeby; otherwise, I would never go to that area of FL. (My sons never go to Clearwater Beach anymore!) I'll stay at a nicer place away from the beach & the cult there.

Very nice hotel, close to the beach and good food.Posted Nov 14, 2015
Pros: The location, the view, the staff, and the size of the room.
Cons: The continental breakfast offerings.
Location: This hotel is located across the street from the beach. The sand in Clear Water is ultra fine, white sand. Lots of good places to eat within walking
We were delighted that the hotel was located out on Clear Water Beach Island and was so close to the gulf. Our room was large and airy with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only slight disappointment was the continental breakfast offerings but I guess I can't complain too much since they didn't have to offer anything.

Pros: Location, staff, cleanliness,
Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very clean if a little small for the 4 of us. Stunning views from both sides of hotel. Pub/ restaurant next door, perfect for a short stay in Clearwater.

good locationPosted Oct 27, 2015
Pros: Location excellent for Chalk Art Fest
Cons: Room sizes and parking
Location: Within walking distance to beach, shopping and restaurants.
The hotel is ok. Rooms are small, but clean. Location was good. They charge a parking fee per day. Parking not that convent to room.

Excellent locationPosted Oct 12, 2015
Cons: Rooms need complete makeovers but we were told hotel is being renovated.
Location: Walking distance to everything, bars, restaurants, pier, mini grocery store next door
The location of the hotel is excellent, across from the beach and close to everything. Disappointed with the condition of the interior of the room, furniture very old and in poor condition, bathroom door would not shut, no exhaust fan in bathroom, horrible shower pressure and poor lighting throughout room. Not very soundproof rooms as you can hear lots of noise. Nice pool area. Overall we didn't spend much time in the room so it didn't matter so much, these are just things noticed while staying there. Would probably stay again but would opt for a room with a balcony on the Gulf side of the hotel.

Nice budget hotel.Posted Sep 27, 2015
Cons: Elevator needs A/C.
Location: Close to restaurants and shopping.
Hotel has been renovated in many areas. Rooms freshly pained, new carpet. Great view of the beach. Complimentary breakfast is only one hour (8-9). The elevator has no A/C and it is slow. Overall, the stay was very nice.

Really enjoyable stayPosted Aug 24, 2015 on Hotels
basic room but very clean. Good sized bathroom with a good supply of towels. No fridge or drawers in room to unpack properly however this did not ruin my stay. Lovely clean pool with loungers and chairs around the deck. Breakfast provided every morning and it was a good start to the day, there was yogurt, muffins, toast, cereals, pastries. Good basic hotel for an affordable price, a lot better than some of the other budget hotels nearby.
