Nice hotel close to downtown and Tropicana Dome

Room was clean, and breakfast was very nice. We had a little issue with the reservation that was quickly solved. Hotel close to Tropicana Dome, and downtown.

Stop Over

Pros: They offered beer for sale. After a long road trip a drink was a bonus. It had a mini fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast was good.
Room was clean, quiet. It had a fridge and microwave.

Comfort Inn North

As we're we're moving and unable to stay at our our home we sold the evening before the move, we reserved a room at the Comfort Inn North. Everything from check in to check out went great! Breakfast was good. We would recommend this hotel to others

The inn was fairly clean an comfortable . For the price of the room it was what I expected . Nothing fancy but the bed was comfortable the sheets felt clean an the continental breakfast wasn't half bad .

St. Pete North

I have stayed at this facility 4 times now and it seems it needs updating. Mattress was uncomfortable , carpeting in room and hallways dirty, musty/mildew odor in hallways. Hot breakfast items were the same every day for 5 days in a row. Coffee always great. Staff very friendly

Entire stay and dining were all satisfactory for the price. Hotel added $2.50 per day "service charge" on top of Expedia quote which was 100% pre-paid. While this may seem a small price to pay, it is clearly unfair for Expedia to advertise a particular price for a stay while the customer is making price comparisons with other booking services. Expedia captures the reservation and payment by under-bidding competitors by what seems to be a small amount, but additional charges are tacked on later in this "bait and switch" arrangement. Undoubtedly these small amounts add up when may reservations are made. Just on principle, I will consider using Expedia again in the future. Was it worth a total of $5.00 to Expedia or the hotel, or was it split?

Thank you for your feedback. The hotel service fee is a mandatory fee we charge all of our guests. Unfortunately it is not included in the price our guests pay with Expedia.
