Room was clean, comfortable and staff was great. Grounds need some upkeep. Pool was clean and swimable, pool chairs are worn.

Your on vacation though in the Heart of Downtown St. Pete. You don't need TV when you have Live TV all around you when walking around such a beautiful Location. From check-in to check-out this place was a disaster. There was very limited free parking, as long as you are not leaving for the rest of your stay. They say there is a garage across the street for overnight parking....no garage. There was no front desk staff, they only left a cell phone number to call if you had a question. The pool was disgusting, looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks (see photo below). In the room the shower nob was broken, the toilet wouldn't flush which we had to fix ourselves. They advertise as a bed and breakfast, but no breakfast. We were told if we had our own food there was a kitchen we could cook it in. Very disappointed with Expedia on this one. Would love my money back. Totally not worth it.

If you would re read your email confirmation it talks about parking garage is across the street. That is if you are staying at the Main Sisterhood Hotel Ponce De Leon. Also the email confirmation states for the Mansion Inn parking is based on availability and first come first serve. I have 14 rooms and I park 13 cars on the premises and I have people who are blocking other cars to leave their key with me and at anytime a guest needs to take their car and leave, all they have to do is call me and I go move the cars to let you out. Or if guests don't like that option then they can go Pay for parking at the garage across from my sisterhood hotel 5 blocks down or park on the street and move your car every 2 hours to keep from getting a ticket. So instead of my guests paying for parking or moving their cars every 2 hours. Then I myself take the keys to cars that are blocking others and move cars anytime for guest 24/7. I live on the premises 24/7 and have my cell number every where for guests to call me anytime of the day and night for guests for any problems. You never called about shower or toilet and the next guest that checked into that room had no problem. As far as the pool goes. It gets professionally cleaning 2 times a week and my maintenance cleans every day. It was really hot out and the pool was packed with swimmers for 3 days straight jumping in and out of it including your family. There is bound to be some dirt at the bottom of the pool until the next cleaning by the professional. And there is breakfast $10 per person for turkey bacon, juice, toast and eggs. or I give restaurant advice so guests can go enjoy the morning downtown and the view. If you opt out of the breakfast, that is your choice. I do apologize that you didn't enjoy your stay at the Mansion Inn. But my number is every where for you to call at anytime that you were unhappy.

Good hotel. Sabrina is a good manager and she always gives good tips about the city, the restaurants and beaches! The should redecorate the guest rooms! That is my only suggestion.

Quaint Place, Great Staff

It was a great place to stay and Sabrina was so helpful and accommodating! Very clean and quaint in a great part of St. Petersburg within walking distance to lots of places.

Best place to stay in St. Pete!

Amazing and quaint! Incredibly clean and the manager is the sweetest person ever! She's available 24/7 and always so nice. I loved the location and I couldn't believe how great the price was for the location! I'm definitely going back very soon!!!! Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay!

The AC was out when we arrived, the host took us to our room, the pillows were disheveled and there was hair on the pillowcase. The host seemed so stressed the whole time she was telling us about the property. She took care of it, but it was definitely a discouraging start. She informed us neither the pool or the jacuzzi is heated. The bed was absolutely the most uncomfortable, noisy thing I'd ever slept on. The guest next to us blared the TV on full volume all night long. When we checked out and expressed how uncomfortable it was, the host's response was "tell me about it, those beds are awful." She told us how she was working on getting them replaced, but why on earth let me pay full price for that? She told us to give it another chance with no offer of anything. It would have helped to have heard "give us another shot, here's a discount for your next stay". Sidenote- do not consider this a bed and breakfast. Breakfast is extra per person, its turkey bacon and juice, and even the host encouraged away from it.

Hello Robert. I do apologize that your stay wasn't the best. I did get the AC working an hour after you checked in. And I do apologize about the guest with the loud tv. I did try calling them and knocking on their door to turn down but they didn't respond back until later and then they turned tv down. And the mattress I did say that I'm sorry that you felt the bed was awful and that my goal for the Inn is to go and sleep in all the rooms to find the flaws and to have any flaws fixed. But when it comes to the mattresses some guests like hard beds and some like soft beds. So not all guests think your mattress you slept on is awful. It is all on the body type and what a person likes to sleep on. The breakfast is $10 more per person and I tell people that it is turkey bacon, juice, toast and eggs not just turkey bacon and juice. And as a HOST, I give other options for breakfast to get more of a variety to choose from for your cost because I want guests to know they have options to choose from than just one options. Other hosts don't do that, they just take your money and give you what you get. And yes indeed I did say to come back and give it another chance and I'll give you a discount. Full price for the night back is not something I give back due to at anytime you could have called me through the night to say you aren't enjoying your stay and I would have let you check out with full refund. And when I was telling my speech about how I'm on call and like happy guests and in order to get happy guests I come a running when there is a problem. Not even did you call me to tell me guest tv was too loud. I found that out on my own by checking in my last guest. You had my cell number to call me direct at anytime of a problem. Your problem wasn't told to me until 11am check out time. And the stress part was more of a confused look on my face of why the pillows was the way they were and the hair on the pillow I found automatically and when and changed pillow cases. Close to Beach, but.....

Pros: Location
Cons: change description of inn, change the furniture,add a chair, the foil on the wall (looks like it; could be plastic) in lieu of a headboard - remove it
Location: Lots of things to do - museums lots of parks, great shopping, wonderful restaurants, the water front.
Check-in/office is usually locked, it seems. If one doesn't have a cell phone one is out of luck because one is supposed to call a staff member who lives on the premises (who is nice). Even though their website states all rooms are newly renovated as well as "2014 Bed & Breakfast", no breakfast is served (we were told at check-in that this was discontinued 2 years ago).Our room (Edinburgh) had old non-matching furniture, only one chair, no dresser, non-pleasing decor; microwave didn't work, no temperature control, windows didn't open. The Inn supposedly has free parking but only 4 cars barely fit into their parking area - but if there are even 3 cars one cannot get out. We walked to a restaurant the first night at 10:30 pm after the Blues Festival because our car was hemmed in. Expedia shows a desk and 2 chairs in the rooms... no desk, 1 chair in room. Coffee pot and microwave are on a stand. There is a lamp on only one of the narrow night tables; a golden standing light fixture was in a corner and needed to be pulled close to the bed if one wanted to read on the other side. However, the location of the Inn is great. 3 weeks after I booked the Inn (after we left our home) I got an e-mail from them, telling me parking is available at a charge in a hotel nearby and that early check-in would cost $45. That is after I called and asked whether we could check in before 3 pm & I was told if "our" room is ready we could. We were able to get in earlier & and were not charged.

I apologize you didnt enjoy your stay. An entrance to the Main building that is unlocked is the door that I lead you out to get to your room in the 2nd building that stays unlocked. I have 12 parking on premises. In your email parking first come first serve I try to get everyone parked in Anyone blocking someone else leaves me their key so I can move the cars that are blocking others. I live on premises on call. I take time out of what little breaks I have in order to valet park. I dont have to do that. In email confirmation parking for Mansion Inn is free and based on availability. No other place would do that for guests to take their only time of break to focus on their guests.
