4 Great nights in St. Petersburg, RussiaPosted Oct 3, 2015
Pros: The staff was always helpful, professional and kind.
Cons: Get bigger twin beds. Get better bread for the breakfast buffet.
Location: City Bus and boat tour. Isaac Cathedral, Nevsky Prospect, Hermitage, Neva River, Kazan Cathedral, Church of Spilled Blood. Very convenient location
Thanks to a wonderfully friendly, goodlooking concierge names Alexandra, who had my" Hotel Invitation", required to get a Russian Visa, mailed to me within an hour of my request I was able to get the visa without too much delay. The hotel is in a perfect area, located between the Isaac Cathedral and the Nevsky Prospect (main shopping street). Thanks to Alexandra we found everything as she described, even a bank that was open on Sunday. We found St. Petersburg to be a fabulously interesting city (a little like Stockholm). There is a fabulous Deli on the right hand side of Nevsky Prospect. The one thing we did NOT like at the hotel was the bread they served at the breakfast buffet. They need to find some German-style bread. The brown bread was hard and dense and we found that to be acceptable - barely. There was plenty of nice food at the buffet, both warm and cold. Lots of staff, most of whom speak English. We had no problem conversing in English anywhere in the city. The twin beds in the room were quite narrow but quite acceptable if you don't turn around too much.

Wonderful!Posted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: Excellent location - very close to St. Isaac's Cathedral Friendly staff Good selection of breakfast items High standards of cleanliness
Cons: The breakfast room was a little small and often busy, but this did not cause any issues to me personally.
Location: Perfect! Very close (literally down the road) from St. Isaac's Cathedral and a short walk to Nevsky Prospect and the Hermitage.
Quite possibly one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in worldwide. The location of the hotel could not be better, being very close to St. Isaac's Cathedral and the Hermitage. All staff that I had contact with were very friendly, the room was spotlessly clean and the facilities good. The breakfast selection was good, although the breakfast room was a little small and often busy (though this did not prove to be an issue at any point.) Even months before my stay, the hotel were quick to respond to my request for visa support documents and supplied these without hassle or charge. However, as indicated at the time of booking, a small charge was made upon check-in for visa registration procedures to be completed. Overall, a fantastic hotel and I would not hesitate to visit again.

Mycket bra hotell med väldigt nära till det mestaPosted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: Läget i centrum.

Excellent LocationPosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: The location was excellent. The breakfast was very good. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff did an excellent job.
Cons: Concierge service.
Location: The hotel was walking distance to most city attractions, restaurants and cafes.
The check in was very smooth. The front desk staff were very professional. However, the concierge was not Helpful. We wanted to book a tour and apparently the touring company that had contract with hotel was sold out. She did not try to accommodate us by contacting with any other touring company. The breakfast room staff had very pleasant attitude.

Great locationPosted Sep 13, 2015
Pros: Location, clean room, plenty of bottled water, small Cafe-bar at the entrance, near the tourist busses and ticket offices.
Cons: Probably the chef at breakfast time. She was kind and amiable but a little slow, just trying to be perfect. It's ok, since all the other staff is great
Location: It's located near Isaac Church, but the best is the street: restaurants, cafe, souvenir shops, and Metro. They provide a great map with all the info
It's located near Isaac Church, but the best is the street: restaurants, cafe, souvenir shops, and Metro station nearby. All main attractions are on the map they provide. Following suggestions we went to the Palkin restaurant. I really enjoyed the place. Saint Petersburg is a beautiful and cosmopolitan place, better if we are staying in a four and a half stars hotel (I gave them other have of star!), and they know how to treat tourists.

Just what we wantedPosted Sep 13, 2015
Pros: Loved the location just a block from St. Isaac Square in one direction, Nevskiy Prospekt in the other. Major sights were within walking distance.
Cons: Serve actual brewed coffee at breakfast.
Location: Walk to Admiralty, Hermitage, major churches, Nevskiy Prospekt shopping.
A very pleasant hotel, moderately priced, in a perfect location just half a block from three of the most expensive hotels in the city. We had chosen a deluxe city view room and were delighted with a very spacious room with high ceilings, elaborate crown moldings, pleasant decor, large bathroom. Everything was spotless and kept that way by housekeeping throughout our stay. Concierge service was pleasant, with two excellent restaurant recommendations. The breakfast room was crowded with tour groups one morning and the only way to get decent coffee from the self-serve machines was to add some hot water to a double espresso.

Great hotel!Posted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, rooms.
Cons: Wifi is free or charge; the free Wifi is too slow!
Location: Great, in the city center, everything close.
The hotel is located in the city center, close to most of the highlights, i.e. the Hermitage, Isaac’s Cathedral, etc. From the outside it looks big, but not very special. Staff is helpful and friendly. The concierge can tell a lot of things about city, restaurants, etc. Rooms are quiet, clean and complete. Breakfast is very good, always a lot of people present. Although the hotel is located in the city center, the room was quiet. Only one disadvantage; the free internet is extremely slow.

Centrally located hotelPosted Sep 7, 2015
Pros: Location, room cleanliness, staff.
Cons: Breakfast: add bacon and better scrambled eggs.
Location: Metro at 3 blocks distance, Hop-on Hop-off in at walking distance in front of Cathedral. Harbor to take boat trips nearby.
Nice hotel, excellent location close to restaurants, bus stop. Hop-on Hop-off stop at walking distance, metro nearby. Friendly staff willing always to help with explanations. Breakfast a little weak (no bacon, scrambled eggs not tasty) still plenty options like fruits, sausages, salmon, porridge bread, etc.
