Pros: In addition to how confortable the hotel made my stay, staff was extremely helpful in organizing our travel in the city.
Cons: The bacon is cooked improperly. Large clumps stuck together, as opposed to nice crispy strips.
Location: After a long day of touring museums and palaces, walk around the block to the long avenues lined with trees to find small restaurants and Little sho
it was my birthday and after having spent a very nice evening with friends, I return to my room to find a small delicious cake with chocolate icing on which was written: "happy birthday". Thoughtful and such a nice surprise!

Great hotel with wonderful and helpful staff

Posted Jul 1, 2016
Fabulous hotel in a great location. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful. They spoke excellent English. Rooms were large and very nice, The beds are a little worn out auto bit too soft. But otherwise the accommodations are outstanding. They only weak spot is the restaurant is overpriced and the food is only mediocre. They will even arrange a taxi for you. Do not use a taxi in Russia unless it is arranged by the hotel, because even if you negotiate a price up front, they will rip you off avoid them at all costs

Nice 3,5* hotel in Saint-Petersburg

Negative: take a tooth brush and gel from home, rooms near the elevators are not very soundproofed. Positive: nice location on Vasilievsky island close to Nevsky Avenue and all sightseeings. Clean, quiet, worth of money paid.

Exactly as expected

This is a solid 4-star hotel with comfortable clean rooms and excellent location. The rooms are quite big, with great beds, very good bathrooms, and excellent free amenities (including unlimited free bottled water, soft drinks from minibar, and coffee capsules for in-room coffee machine). There is a restaurant Repin (solid but unspectacular), and 8th Line Pub (very good but a bit noisy). The staff is helpful and courteous, and the concierge is willing to help even with some difficult tasks (found a very decent shoe repair shop on a Saturday night). Overall a great bargain at $98 per night for a superior room on the top floor (breakfast for 2 people included). Highly recommended!

Nice Hotel on the island

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: Kind staff.
Cons: A charge for delivering food to the room seems unreasonable when the prices for room service are already inflated.
This is a nice hotel on the island - a few minutes walk from the University Embankment. Our room was upgraded to a larger room which was great as we were visiting with family, and this gave us space to relax in one room in the evenings. The hotel is "walkable distance" to the metro and centre where most sites are - Hermitage etc., but some people may find the distance a little far - it's not the closest option to the attractions. However, for the price and accommodations we found the whole thing very reasonable and nice.

Could not fault food best I have had in any hotel. Room was first class. Maybe just a little bit far from main area in St Petersberg .

Pros: Location, breakfast
Cons: The gym could be bigger and some 2 extra machines would be nice!
Location: Location was nice. No much around it, but it is near to everything, I thought!

Fantastic Hotel in a Poor Location

Posted Jun 8, 2015
This really is a great hotel, unfortunately it's in a very poor location if you want to walk to all of the sites in St Petersburg. The neighborhood has basically nothing in the form of restaurants or shops. There is a metro station about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, but that stops running around midnight, and the bridges crossing the river rise at 1:30am, essentially cutting off any connection to the central part of the city for most of the night.
