What a gem!

This was our first stay but won't be our last. What a wonderful experience! From the front desk check in to the personable valet we were so impressed. A special thanks to our bartender that took the time to make an old fashion with great technique. This was a last minute trip and we are so glad we chose the Vinoy.

Nice Hotel with Old Character and good staff.

Pros: The Old Character of the Hotel and staff.
The Vinoy resort is an older Hotel that has been renovated and provides for a world class experience. It is close to the main street of activity and has easy access to walking the town in St. Petersburg.

Nice weekend getaway

Loved this place. Everyone that works there is amazing, the room was very clean, the atmosphere is awesome. We will definitely stay here again.

bday celebration

Pros: rooms are very large
Cons: too many different perfume smells in the lobby and bar area
Location: great location for walking and entertainment
I have stayed here many times before and had a much better experience in the past.... Upon arrival, the valet guy did not seem to know what to do and we unloaded our car ourselves and put on a cart. They ask the name the room was under, they were told and our luggage did not make it to the room until we phoned the front, they informed me they did not know who it belonged to. There were food crumbs on the TV stand, it had not been cleaned at all. It is under construction right now and that made it difficult to get around to the pool restaurant, which once we did get to, had a very odd smell inside, so we chose to not eat at that location. They do not offer any late night room service...which I greatly prefer when staying at a nice resort/hotel.

Amazing view when you upgrade to the Bay View.

Pros: Old charm, food and staff.
Had an amazing time...food was really good, staff was incredibly friendly. Only thing was that they close down their lounge bar to early.

Good experience. The reason for our visit was for celebrated my husband birthday. We had a great time is quiet place and beautiful antique hotel.

The Vinoy Renaissance Hotel

Pros: All the art deco within the hotel was awesome!
Cons: When you are aware someone has reserved a room, freshen up the air quality in the room. It just smelled musty the whole time we were there.
Location: So much to do; museums, food, shopping. Everything seem to be a walking distance. And if you didn't want to walk they had trolleys.
Beautiful hotel, the negative was that our room was stuffy from the moment we walked in until we left. It had a mildew smell. Outside of that it was a beautiful hotel, the staff were very friendly and courteous.

Nice hotel close to the beach and park.

Had a wonderful stay, the host and management were very friendly. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast and staff at the signature restaurant. The hotel was also close to the events that were happening that weekend. Overall my stay was very pleasant.
