Salon de Provence (40,000 inhabitants), city of Nostradamus and stronghold of the soap factory, deserves much better than a visit to the run. Its geographical situation - in the center of the department -, its dynamism, the quality and the diversity of its infrastructures as well as the richness of its architectural inheritance make it an ideal base to radiate in the department. Everything seems within reach of the wheels: the Alpilles, the Camargue, the country of Aix, Luberon, Crau and the coast.
