The hotel was very good for the price, but the breakfast was a bit cheap and the wifi didn't work while we were there. There was some road noise and it was quite a way out, but we had a perfectly good stay.

Good Food but a budget hotel

Posted Sep 4, 2016
Not bad for a short stay, clean enough and breakfast and restaurant staff great.Pool and terrace area a pleasant surprise with open country views ,but hotel is on a busy road and parking is a bit tight at the rear.Approximately 15 minutes from St Helier and beach about the same. There is no lift and quite a few steps to the rooms, which were noisey, however you kinda get what you pay for ,so not a bad few days.

nice hotel short walk to restaurants,

Posted Aug 30, 2016
Pros: We thought the staff in the dining room at breakfast time were very helpful and friendly,
Cons: The Windows on the front could do with secondary double glazing!!
Location: The hotel location is brilliant just a short walk into town to all restaurants, and sites.
Nice hotel staff very helpful and obliging, only fault was we were given a room on the front, which was on a very busy noisy road, it was very hot but because of traffic noise we had to close both windows which made it far too hot in the room, we asked for a fan which we were given but didn't seem to make any difference, If staying at this hotel would advise to request a quiet room not one on the road side.

Pleasant stay

Posted Aug 17, 2016
Pros: Good location, comfy lounges, neat pool, good terrace, adults only.
Cons: Air conditioning or fan provided. Shower gel. Larger tv in the bedroom
Location: See above
The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good but not keen on sharing a table with other guests. All amenities were fine. We would certainly return but only if there was accommodation in the rear of the hotel as the road noise was really awful with speedsters every night in the small hours and the double glazing (?) not effective.

Nice Hotel close to centre of town

Posted Aug 11, 2016
Pros: Staff were friendly and would go out of their way to be of assistance.
Cons: Breakfast choices were very limited.
Location: Quite location and within 10 minutes walk to centreBreakfast choices could do with being varied. of town
That is no good elderly people staying there as there is no lift and you have to be prepared to climb stairs. Breakfast could do with being varied as it was the same things offered every morning.

Pleasant hotel in good location.

Posted Aug 2, 2016
Pros: As above, good and clean, comfortable and good value.
Cons: More varied evening meal menu.
Location: Main road between St. Helier and Gorey, local buses frequent but easy walk into town. Bus tour of the island is ideal, informative and well worth it.
Very welcoming hotel and staff, manager very helpful, lovely and clean everywhere. Cosy bar, well stocked and not overpriced. Loads of comfy seating in the lounges. Small pool but plenty of seating areas around with country views. Room spacious, clean, well equipped and serviced daily. Situated on a main road and bus route, St Helier just about 20 minutes walk with lots to do and see, good choice of eateries. Breakfast excellent, good service, nice and hot food. The only criticism would be that the evening menu is quite limited on choice, but reasonably priced.Overall very good quality and very reasonably priced.Would stay again.
