The best time to visit St. Shott's, Newfoundland and Labrador, is during the summer months, specifically from July to August, for the most comfortable weather and wildlife viewing opportunities.During this period, the temperatures are at their warmest, typically ranging from 15°C to 20°C (59°F to 68°F), making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and exploring the coastal trails. The longer daylight hours also provide ample time for sightseeing. This is also prime time for whale watching, as many species are present in the waters off the coast, and for viewing the large seabird colonies. For those interested in experiencing the natural beauty and wildlife without the peak summer crowds, late June and early September offer a pleasant alternative. While the weather might be slightly cooler, you'll still find good conditions for outdoor exploration and wildlife sightings, often with fewer visitors.
