The hotel staff was exceptional!!!Posted Aug 15, 2015
Pros: The staff.
Location: The location is perfect. Not far from the airport and close to main street.
My husband and I were spending our 25th wedding anniversary, where we spent it on our honeymoon. The hotel still has it character and the island itself has improved with the times.

Good location, comfortable and affordablePosted Aug 14, 2015
Cons: The staff don't come across as very interested in helping guests, but that seems to be USVI issue in general.
Accommodation on St Thomas is in general expensive, especially for anything nice ... thank the cruise ships for that. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were lucky enough to have a room with a great view. The pool wasn't crowded, and the poolside bar had decent reasonably priced food and affordable drinks ($6-$7 for cocktails and $3-$4 for beers). Close proximity (15 minute walk) to the town, Havensight Mall - which had a couple of decent restaurants, and Pueblo Market, the was a plus.

Cons: As I stated above, maybe coffee in the lobby.
Location: We did not have enough time to research as much as we needed to, but ferried to St.John for the only full day we had.
Had moved from the Retz-Carlton (attended an event there) to Bluebeards to try and enjoy a few more days while on the island. Very nice location, the hills were a little challenging though. Attended the beach property one evening, also. Very peaceful setting. Would have appreciated lobby coffee instead of paying $2.00 for a cup of coffee because the coffee pot in the room would not release the water and I was trying to be quiet in the room for my daughter and granddaughter. Would love to be able to visit there again though. Got food from the bar one evening to sit around the pool area to eat and was charged 1.00 extra for the order.

Great locationPosted Aug 13, 2015
Location: 2 restaurants and a bar at the hotel, plus minutes from all of the downtown restaurants and shops. A short drive to all of the beaches.
Only 5 minutes from downtown Charlotte Amalie, only about 15 minutes from the Ferry dock for St John, and anywhere from 15-30 minutes from all the beaches in St Thomas. Nice and peaceful, plus the small plates/happy hour at Banana Tree Grill was outstanding!

Moldy and smelly roomPosted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: Beautiful setting
Cons: I think the mold was in the air conditioner. These need to be cleaned if not used regularly.
Location: Good restaurants right there. Beautiful view of the harbor.
My room smelled of mold. I tried to get it changed the first night and there were no other rooms. I did get it changed and the 2nd night was better, but they sprayed something in the room to make it smell good.

Central beliggenhed og fine faciliteterPosted Jul 30, 2015
Dejligt resort i Charlotte Amalie tæt på byen og dens seværdigheder. Det er ikke luksus, men der er, hvad man har brug for. Lille køkkenplads men okay. Vores lejlighed havde en fantastisk udsigt over havnen. Skønt poolområde. Overalt var der rent og pænt.

Nice hotel close to everything!Posted Jul 18, 2015
This hotel is an historic site which means it's older but with up to date facilities. Great restaurants onsite, friendly and informative staff, great place to relax or use as a base for touring, shopping etc, Great view of the harbor and Havensight. Recommend it.

Decent hotelPosted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: It was within reasonable walking distance to downtown. The view from the top of the mountain is nice.
Cons: The attitude of the hotel front desk clerks was gruff, but everyone else was nice. I know staff come and go, so this does not really affect the hotel.
Location: Top of a hill, but we walked to the market shopping, ferry boats, Frenchman's district, and the sky tram.
My husband and I stayed here 4 nights. The food at the hotel was excellent. The room looked fairly newly renovated.

Nice enough hotel.Posted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: The swimming pool and views from the pool area.
Cons: I can only speak to our room, but it needs updating as do others, I'm sure. Sell more food at the little store near the lobby.
Location: Anywhere we went we had to take a cab. A few blocks cost four dollars each (along with tip). There are many stores and restaurants in town.
When I booked the hotel room, I thought we would be seeing the bay from our balcony or at least some kind of beautiful view of the mountains. As our room was in the back of the resort, What we saw from the balcony was a tree and side of a building. Very disappointing. The room was okay but old. There was nowhere to eat on the premises until 5 p.m. and the restaurants were very expensive. The pool area was nice and the grounds were kept up. The staff seemed very nice and helpful.
