One night stay was not long enoughPosted Oct 11, 2015
Pros: Close proximity to the airport but no airport noise. Lovely, quiet beach.
Cons: Shower temperature varied a lot (w/o touching the handle). Late night Bell service - I helped a lady with late check-in carry her bags up 3 flights
Location: Short taxi ride into town for restaurants and shopping. Airport is only a short taxi ride, as well.
Last stop on our vacation and unfortunately we didn't have enough time to enjoy all of the amenities like the tranquil pool setting and the wonderful beach. I'll plan better next time. We arrived late in the evening after a quick trip to St. John's for a walk, shopping, and dinner and had to get to the airport too early- by 1:30 pm.

We had a good time despite minor issues on our arrival night. The first room that we got was flooded with water. The staff was nice; quickly gave us another room ( further away from the pool). It would have been nice to have someone help us with our luggages from room to room. The beach and pool were nice. A little jacuzzi by the pool would have been nicer. The food was great.

Great hotel on the beach!!Posted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Right by the airport, great views and great beach and restaurant in the hotel!
Location: Plenty to do near by. There was shopping downtown nice shops and good places to eat. Local excursions to St John's, for watersports as is on St Thomas
The moment we arrived Shirma greeted us with a great big warm and friendly smile! Made us feel right at home. The housekeeping staff, hotel maintenence crew, restaurant staff, all were very friendly, and professional, and just nice pleasant people to deal with. All rooms had a wonderful view of the beach. To open your drapes each morning and to see the beach sand and palm trees and backround views of the mountains was just breathtaking!! Room was clean, nice firm king bed, nice shower, cold AC and great views from the balcony. Probably one of the best beaches on the island I think. Calm crystal clear clean waters with gentle turquoise colored waters with a nice breeze. The grounds were kept very clean and looked impressive, nice trees and beautiful flowers!

HorriblePosted Sep 13, 2015
Air conditioning was not blowing cold air, I had to show the staff how to clean the filter on the air conditioner, it was disgustingly filthy! Worked ok after that. The employees were not very friendly, the lock on the glass door out to the patio was had to get it to work, the card key for the room took several tries before it would work, the water in the shower never got hot, it was tepid, the bed had a big worn divot in it that made it impossible to get comfortable. The on site restaurant was mediocre, ate there once, only the price was too high for the poor quality of food and service. The restaurant is open air and there loads of flies! A good 50% of what was in the menu was "no longer available". The in room directory was out of date. This is a franchise hotel but still gives Best Western a bad name!

Nice Place on the BeachPosted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: Older, sand was everywhere, but there was a beach outside, soooo.
Cons: overall cleanliness
Not perfect, but very good for the price and close to Charlotte Amalie. I would stay here again.

Beachfront room very close to airportPosted Aug 5, 2015
A great place to stay. We encountered friendly hotel and restaurant staff. Nicholas took great care of us at the Fusion restaurant. Alliyah greeted us every morning for breakfast. There was construction going on in the room next door. However, the manager asked us the option to change rooms. Nevertheless, we decided to stay in 3204 because of the excellent location and view. One issue, we had to request the replacement of towels on two occasions. The maids did excellent jobs on keeping our room cleaned daily. Also, use the cab for transportation to the hotel instead of paying $25 per person for a roundtrip ride. Taxi is $6 per person each way. Also, ride the safari taxi for $2 to go into town instead of using the regular taxi. We will stay at Emerald Beach Resort again. Great food, great view and a great atmosphere.

The Hotel StayPosted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Staff, front desk, house keeping, security and the restaurant was on top of their game.
Cons: Lower price per night.
Location: The location was great and convenience to the airport. The travel to downtown was just a few miles.
The entire staff was professional and extremely responsive to our needs. Trust me, we can be difficult. Shanice at the front desk went above and beyond the call of her duties to follow up with us each time we made a request just to close the loop. The greetings each and every time we entered the hotel lobby truly speaks to the feeling of being at home amongst family and friends. The beach was less than 25 steps from our building. The place was cleaned, security staff was always present.
