I loved the property and how close it was to the beach. I believe adding shuttle service to the airport and back would make me stay more often. I will say the music blaring at 6am the roosters and dogs were definitely not my favorite part.

The property is really cute, in front of a beautiful beach. The staff was friendly, specially Paul who serves breakfast. Easy to walk around, close to the airport. The only thing I would suggest is that they have an area of used materials piled at the end of the last building 4 , I suggest all those materials to move it to another area, not visible to the guests. Other than that, I had a lovely stay and would stay again and recommend it!

Perfect location right near the airport- also recommend to visit Brewers bay near the university to see the turtles. Beachfront property, and saw pictures online saying the hotel was outdated, wasn’t my experience. Room was newly renovated with a great view of the ocean. Front desk staff extremely nice & restaurant didn’t have the best service. Perfect for a girls weekend trip. Loved it.

Took two hours to get a hamburger in the restaurant. Lots of trash around the pools and beach front. Shower had hot water OR cold water. Not both. Front desk staff lovely.

The food quality wasn't bad, but the restaurant was understaffed. It could really be helped in the morning if they had a coffee service, cuz that's what most people want. Instead everyone has to sit at tables and waiting for the one waiter to bring everything around. He was a nice guy and did his best, but he couldn't keep up. Lots of roosters and they start crowing at about 3:00 a.m. Beach umbrellas had an odd third party gatekeeping them, even though there was no charge, it was uncomfortable. Front desk staff and the swimming pool were probably the highlights.

This property was very dated, and not well maintained. It has beautiful view/water front, and is close to the airport, but really needs to be updated.

This place is run down, and way understaffed! There was no food onsite due to low staffing. This is why we picked this resort. The rooms are very dated. There was hammering and construction happening in the next room the entire time we were there. So disappointed and the response from the management was oh well, we were understaffed. Not good enough.

Our flight was canceled so I was able to get a room here. No complaints! It’s a quick walk from the airport, the rooms are clean and comfortable, staff friendly, and the beach is beautiful! Obviously you hear the airplanes but they stopped at night and really didn’t bother me otherwise.

I love the location nearby the airport. The water is nice. I travel All over the world and the problem Is if your flight arrives at 6 am Yo MUST wait till 4 pm To check in .The grill Restaurant ?we waited 2 hours for food and when the server arrived we left . They are watching the phone the servers and they blame Other coworkers. Try to get your own drinks and food specially if you have children. Bring a book or charge your phone because they will never notice you are searing at the dinner table waiting to eat and spend money .

Emerald Beach Resort is heavily used by day trippers from cruise ships, for people who see this as a destination resort, and by people like me who stopped there for one night. Given its proximity to the airport and to the busy places of Charlotte Amalie, this facility is extremely busy during the day. For us staying overnight, the place was just fine in the evening when the crowds calmed. Our room was quite large and clean. Beds were so so ok. Frig in room, but no microwave but desk staff told us we could take our food to the restaurant for heating. Ended up having quiet dinner on our porch with amazing view. Friendly accommodating staff in all places. Vacationers seemed happy.

We arrived at the hotel to find they did not have a room for us or the room for our friends. The reason was that other guests had not checked out of their room. Sounded like they overbooked and did not have enough rooms. The desk staff did not appear to concerned but agreed to call another hotel for us. Not a good experience on first day of vacation.

Could not rate the resort, only made it to the front desk. Expedia said it was available, so we booked it. We drove to the resort to find that there was no vacancy. Not the property's fault. Front desk tried to accommodate us at a sister hotel. Poor lady was the only one servicing multiple families at once, could not answer all of the phone calls.

While I did enjoy my stay in St. Thomas, my biggest issue is with the cleanliness of the resort. The sink and toilet had stains, the shower head had hard water residue, and overall the bathroom did not look like it was cleaned at all. There was also a bug in my room and I asked for the front desk to accommodate me by giving me a new room and they were unable to. The property looked nice from the outside but they need to do better with the cleanliness of the rooms as that’s where people lay their head.

The room was nice and clean, comfortable and met our expectations. Excellent view which was definitely on our list. Restaurant food was excellent, staff very friendly. Close to the airport. The only negative I noticed that didn't make for an outstanding rating was the areas around the hotel were not kept tidy. Junk was stacked in wooded area apparently discard from renovations. And I wish the rooms had microwaves. Would definitely stay here again and hopefuly real soon. Beaches in St. Thomas and St. John are absolutely beautiful.

Staff were friendly, room was nice, clean, quiet at the end of bldg 4. Spectacular view of the water from balcony. Conveniently located near the airport and did not hear airplanes. Food was decent. Beach area was good, and pool area was nice. My only complaint would be the occasional breeze of weed, although it is not permitted.

My husband and I loved staying here. Its NOT perfect and many of the reviews I read before hand were accurate, however, the good at this resort FAR outweighted the bad. If you are not too uptight, and dont mind being a little patient with the small stuff, EVERYTHING else is wonderful. We will be back!
