Pros: The view to the beach and the mountains.
Cons: The restaurant
Location: You can visit main st where there's all the business and you can go to see the ships when they arrived to port.
The fantastic view that it has is just amazing, personal is always helpful and the close you are to every where that is good. Thanks M.O. and A.M.

BEST VIEW IN TOWNPosted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: The views are insane, overlooking the bay. The restaurant also has a great view and the food was authentic and delicious.
Cons: No complaints
Location: the location is higher on the mountain so you will have to get a cab to go to town to explore.
We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was great! I highly recommend staying here!!

Absolutely great views and bartender, BUT...Posted Jul 26, 2015
The place is way past due for some basic updating. Windows and doors have sizable spaces. Road noise was terrible, and openings just made it worse. Redeeming factors are the views and bartender who is a treasurer of personality to discover.

Our first vacation expierence!Posted Jul 22, 2015
This was my husband and my first "real vacation" so we expected an amazing room and expierence with all the glitz and glamour. The room was not exactly how it was pictured or we pictured it. Our "suite" was directly off of the highway so the cars that were flying by all night were extremely disruptive. It is not close to the beach at all so we had to call cabs to take us to main street or into the city when we wanted to do something. The staff was superb and the views were breathtaking the resturant was the best on this Island in our opinion. The complimentary breakfast was amazing! I never eat the complimentary breakfast at hotels because I could swear its powdered eggs canned gravy and hard biscuits. This breakfast they had cooked to order omlets with fresh juicy sweet fruit, bread, potatoes, juice and all the fixings. We did howeber end up leaving the hotel due ro distance and inside appearance of the room. (Dated) and the manager refunded us what he could and was very understanding. One of the staff members even offered to take us up to the corner store when we first arrived because we needed something. So absolutely nothing against Mafolie Hotel just wasn't what we expected.(could not update photos)

Great view from our room, wonderful stay.Posted Jul 7, 2015
We got lost getting to the hotel, we called and the man came around the corner and directed the rest of the way. (PS lose your gps on your phone they don't work). The hotel was cozy, the staff was nice and the bartender was funny. Great stay overall.

Fun and Funky Boutique HotelPosted Jun 27, 2015
Informal, clean and fun with than incredible view of the Charlotte Amalie and the water. Excellent food at their outdoor restaurant was an added bonus. We went at the end of season so there were a few things that needed to be addressed in our room but other than that, it was awesome!

Mafolie Hotel Great Value in St. ThomasPosted Jun 25, 2015 on Hotels
Service was excellent, View of Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas USVI was breath taking, its not wheel chair accessable, lots of narrow walk ways and lots of steps, but we did not mind, the Hotel Bar, Pool Bar and Restaurant were very good. My dessert was not so great but Breakfast came with the room and very good if you like freshly made omletes great coffee and OJ , room was clean but we were near the restaurant and noisey at night. If being a little old is not your style since the Hotel needs a little love and care, I would know before booking. But the service, location to downtown Charlotte Amailie for shopping, The airport, Red Hook to catch a ferry to St. Johns, made it a great choice. Also, not many rooms so fewer people. Nice pool area overlooking again Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas. Thanks Chad, Linsey, Jen, and I left off 2 very good people at check in, I apologize, but I forgot their names. A Great Value!!!
