We had an amazing experience, with a beach front room. The beach was amazing, and the waves weren't rough because the cove is protected from the ocean. There is also a great beach shop next door for all your needs. It overall was a great experience and we would definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and while it was not perfect, we can wholeheartedly recommend. Pros: - right on the beach with great snorkeling. Probably the best snorkeling we had in US - kids friendly. We had 4 and 6 years old and they didn't want to move out :) - huge rooms with nice decor, sea views and great patio - fully equipped kitchen - extra bed was comfy for kids - Adequate food variety and quality in hotel restaurant (see below). Some food was great (whole grilled snapper), some food was questionable (lobster under mac n cheese) Cons (resort): - sleeping room lacks sound insulation and faces parking lot. Late evening you hear people leaving the public parking lot, starting from 4AM you hear very loud and vocal rooster. Cons (St Thomas): - not walkable at all. Sidewalks are not a thing, roads can be very narrow with a lot of blind spots. 15 minute walk to Red Hook was scenic and extremely scary. - driving is unsafe. Driving is left side, however cars are US made with left side steering wheel as well. Combined with narrow roads (except for the main city) and some very aggressive drivers adds a lot of stress. Wrecked cars are usual sight and we saw at least two car accidents with totaled cars just in 10 days of our stay. - food. $$$ restaurants lack variety, do not offer Caribbean cuisine, often do not cook seafood properly (overdone fish, questionable recipes etc.). We tried different places for 4 days and gave up.

Great place to stay for a family. Rooms were spacious and an easy walk to the beach. If you want a space to cook your own food and enjoy a nice sunset on the balcony this is your place. It’s not near any external restaurants or activities but transportation is available. Beach at the location is great.

Absolutely loved this property. I stayed in the beachside 1 bedroom suite and it was great having the kitchen with plenty of cookware, (blender, teapot, coffee maker and toaster). Property was on a beautiful beach that was secluded and perfect for snorkeling. Really no reason to leave

We stayed in a studio suite which was perfect for what we needed and the view was beautiful. We loved having the full kitchen, suite was clean and had everything we needed. It was an easy walk to the parking, pool and beach. The restaurant was amazing - we ate many meals there. The staff was friendly and hardworking- the property was well kept and clean. The beach experience was stunning and a wonderful first experience for Caribbean waters. Prefer this as opposed to large, overrated resorts by far.

The property was beautiful…beautiful beach with fabulous views. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We chose not to get a rental car with driving on the left side of the road and walking is definitely out of the question. So we needed taxis which they were very helpful in getting for us. As for our room, it showed some wear and tear. Overall though it was comfortable and had a great view of the sunset. We would stay there again if we return to St. Thomas.

Located in a beautiful protected bay with onsite amenities including water activities, fitness center (small), bar and restaurant (great), dive center and more. Very close to offsite restaurants and grocery as well as ferry to St Johns. Many areas on island still suffer from past Hurricanes. Locals are very welcoming and helpful. Weather was perfect entire trip. Left side driving is an experience as are the roads with their eye popping incline/declines and overall poor quality. Infrastructure issues are common but there is beauty everywhere and it is awe inspiring.

Secret Harbor was truly a secret gem on St. Thomas! Exquisite beachfront property on a very beautiful and secluded beach far enough away from too much tourism and traffic if that is what someone is looking for. That was exactly what my husband and I wanted. We wanted somewhere to relax and unwind for four days. All services were above and beyond. Everything from accessibility of the rooms to beachfront, umbrellas and chairs, cleanliness, access to local shops and a wonderful restaurant. Will definitely be back.

Me and my husband loved the property and will definitely be back. Would have liked for the locals or hotel to let us know about the bugs that come out in the evening on the beach though so we could have sprayed bug spray on us versus coming home itchy and figuring it out on the internet.

Very nice oceanfront resort. My wife and I stayed here 2 nights and loved it. Great service and good food. The beach is steps away from your room and we really loved that. A lot of the resorts have nice views but aren't on the ocean front. We enjoyed just sitting on the balcony and relaxing. The service here is great and the rooms are big and roomy with full kitchens. You won't regret staying here.

Room was nicely updated, beach clean, and the best snorkeling around. Great view as we were in a hill top apartment. Service staff less than helpful and generally poor communication along with unfavorable attitudes. If you didn’t need help you were good to go, otherwise usually a not so good experience with the workers. Red hook area had great service staff.

Lovely cove and a nice quiet beach. The people were friendly and the housekeeping staff were excellent! The room was a bit dated and worn but we didn't mind. We did get a room overlooking a trash heap and had trouble finding any convenient outlets in the room. Annoying.

We liked our room, it was clean Kitchen appeared stocked with enough items to cook a meal. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to a family emergency. We were there only two nights but check in and check out was easy. The Sunset grill breakfast were good. The water isn't so great definitely recommend ordering the bottle water or buy some on your own. We beach is small, comfortable and the water was lovely.

Bedroom and bathroom was VERY nice. The rest needs remodeling. Great view. If you're going to come in and makeup our beds, how about providing fresh towels/wash cloths? We even requested new towels. Never arrived. Dinner on property wasn't that good and the bar drinks tasted like virgin drinks. Where was the alcohol? Great view! Property on the outside buildings need updating. Decent stay. Thanks for the hospitality.

Suite had a good deal of deferred maintenance. Kitchen sink faucet didn’t work well. Water pressure in the shower was very poor. Mattress in bedroom was very old and deformed from extended use. Room service was ok however they never showed up at consistent times. One day they never showed.

A beautiful location, perhaps the best on the island. While the facilities are a bit the worse for wear, and the housekeeping is very minimal, the staff is gracious & helpful, the restaurant is good with an incredible view, and overall low-key and very hospitable.

Nice property. I booked a single night and later added two nights. I called to make sure the reservation was combined so we would not have to move rooms. They refused to honor this even with over a month advance notice. We had to pack and store our bags and wait five hours to only be put two doors down. Staff did not try to accommodate us at all.

Our studio room was very nice and the view was amazing! Unfortunately we had to go up about 70 steps to get to our room from the beach. The beach itself is very nice and the water is calm for swimming. The restaurant food was pretty good. We didn’t like the way guests were allowed to get up early and put towels on the beach chairs and then not show up until hours later. All in all, a nice place to stay.

Avoid this property (not worth the money!). When a property charges over $500 USD per night for an entry level room, there are certain amenities and level of service that is to be expected. We stayed here for new years 2023 and was disappointed with our overall experience for the reasons below. 1. There are no staff on the beach to take your order or deliver your food (you must walk to the restaurant, order, and bring everything back to the beach yourself). 2. There are NOT enough beach umbrellas, and this is a public access beach (both nights during our stay we did not have access to umbrellas in a timely fashion). Also, there is no staff to move umbrellas to your location of choice. 3. No room service. The room TV clearly indicates room service with delivery, but if you place an order with their restaurant (Sunset Grill or the Patio), you again have to pick it up yourself from the restaurant yourself and bring it to your room. 4. Breakfast hours are false. Clearly advertised that breakfast hours go until 11am. I showed up at exactly 10:37am and was given a hard time and was told I had to rush and place an order immediately because “breakfast hours are not taken after 10:45am” since they have to switch from breakfast to lunch. And you cannot place a lunch order until 11:15am! Highly inconvenient and false advertising (so they expect people not to order anything between 10:45-11:15am).
