Comfortable even for familiesPosted Nov 18, 2015
Pros: Wonderful breakfast. Fresh ice cold water in the lobby is great.
Cons: Machines run all day (pumps, filters??) in the back of the building. It is noisy at night.
Location: walking distance to every thing.
Clean facility. Nice view and garden. The rooms are as described. The A/C's units need to be recharged. Wonderful staff.

Nice hotel close to townPosted Oct 7, 2015
We were only here for one night , it was very pleasant . Rooms were clean and staff was friendly . Nothing fancy, it was just what we were looking for . I would stay here again. We were able to easily explore other beaches from this hotel.

great place, walking distance to Cruz BayPosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: The hotel was very clean and bright. Molly and staff made us fell right at home. We just loved seeing the tropical plants and flowers.
Cons: I know that water conservation on St John is very important, but I would like a little more water pressure in the shower
Location: You just can't beat being so close to Cruz Bay. We walked to town every day. You still need a car to get around the rest of the island.
we loved getting up in the morning having coffee on the veranda relaxing and the making the big decision of which beautiful beach we were going to for the day. Then we came back in the afternoon to enjoy the rum punch on the veranda. Then we would walk to town to enjoy the restaurants and night life. It was an incredibly relaxing vacation

Super InnPosted Sep 20, 2015
Pros: The staff, the furnishings and the proximity to Cruz Bay
Location: Cruz Bay Landing for eats and rum, Mr. Pipers Jeep Rentals, Taxi stand on the square, Baked in the Sun for coffee and Vista Mare for Dinner
We love this inn. Walking distance to town, well maintained and a laid back atmosphere. Excellent staff who make you feel at home and feel like old friends. Great vibe for those adventurers who are looking for a "real" island experience. Lots of chairs, towels, picnic gear and snorkel stuff to use for the best beaches in the world.

Cozy little inn!Posted Sep 9, 2015
My best friend and I stayed here this past weekend while we were in town for a wedding. We had a lovely experience! The inn is right by town so we were able to walk everywhere (to the ferry, shops, bars, restaurants). It was super convenient. The staff always had great recommendations for us and were so helpful with anything we needed. This is definitely not a resort, so if that's what you're looking for you should obviously be aware of that. But it is a quaint inn with a very local, real feel. We felt like we had a true (as opposed to touristy) St. John experience and wouldn't have had it any other way! The rum punch, by the way, as others have stated, is delicious. Thanks to the St. John Inn staff for making our first time in St. John so memorable and special! We will definitely be back.

I Love the St. John Inn, The Island charmer!Posted Aug 2, 2015 on Hotels
The St John Inn is a charming oasis and getaway. Its quaint, clean and very islandish, filled with flavor. Our room was so beautiful and had everything we needed. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and accommodating. Its a really great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone lucky enough to go to St. John. Its within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Loved it there so much and will definitely return.

Convenient LocationPosted Jul 27, 2015
Spent 3 nights in a nice little suite at St John Inn while visiting to help my daughter prepare for her wedding. It was an easy 7-8 minute walk to her apartment in Wharfside Village, without the steep climb I'd have had if staying somewhere "close" like Battery Hill. The staff was wonderful, the room was clean with all the usual amenities (coffee pot, microwave, small fridge, hair dryer), and breakfast was light but adequate. I was alone on this trip and felt totally safe with a room next to the office and was amazed how quiet it was. I only wished the water pressure in the shower was better, but I'd like to think I did my part in some small way for the island's drought problem. All in all, St John Inn is now on my short list of places to stay when visiting my daughter and new son-in-law on this beautiful island.
