Good location but tired.Posted Nov 12, 2015
Cons: Needs a facelift.
Located downtown near shopping and restaurants. Hotel has a once per day shuttle to a nice beach but no time flexibility. Cabs are a rip off- they charge by the person. There is an open air 2$ shuttle the locals take but its pretty wild. So I chose to get myself to the beach but be within walking distance to restaurants at night and avoid renting a car. I think that decision was a good one. The premises were tired though- whole place needed a facelift. In need of paint, trim peeling off the wall. The cabinet for the small fridge in our room was littered with mouse droppings and half eaten nuts. Staff was overall accommodating.

Dirty WaterPosted Nov 6, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Get a water filter system.
The room was okay but the water was very dirty. It came out brown no matter how long you let it run!

Stopover in St. ThomasPosted Nov 2, 2015
Cons: Rooms need new carpet. Bathrooms need to be redone and upgraded.
This hotel is old and they are behind on maintenance and upgrades. We stayed for one night before a one week stay on St. John and then another night at the end of our trip before flying out the next morning. It was okay for one night but if we go back I would not book the hotel again. The carpets in the room looked gross both nights we stayed. The first night there were little bugs in our bathroom. No bugs the second night. The beds were comfortable and we slept fine.

Well located hotel, but sadly not well maintainedPosted Oct 29, 2015
Pros: Fast Internet connection and ideally located
Cons: Almost everything else, restaurant, lobby, rooms, bar...
Location: Nice dinner around, would recommend Frenchtown, 5mn wlaking distance or Green House.
This Hotel is ideally located, 10 mn from the airport, 5mn walking from Ferry and sea plane terminal and a bunch of restaurants ans shops unfortunately it has not been renovated for years and looks a bit abandoned Staff looks a bit disappointed too When i was there, the restaurant was closed and no breakfast was available. we had to go to the ferry terminal to get one. The staff was supposingly having 10% discount voucher, but when i asked for it they said they had no more. We asked to be awaken the last day at 5.00am and the lady called us at 4.00am. Well, i would nonetheless recommend it for a one night stay because of its location. This is a place where to invest as it is a hidden treasure just waiting to be renovated and well managed

CharmingPosted Sep 28, 2015
I chose this hotel after 2 long, messed up days of travel for it's resort offerings: spa, restaurant, & ocean view. After we arrived we learned everything was closed until October and the "ocean view" was a harbor across a very busy main road, no swimming there. If I'd known all of this I would have chosen differently. When the full resort is open I'm sure it's a nice place.

Nice hotel, across the street from the water,Posted Sep 10, 2015
Cons: open the restaurant and bar
Location: handy to shopping and Main street, great bars and restaurants
quick stay in St. Thomas on my way back home from St. Croix. I had stayed here before, close to restaurants and bars and the cruise docks. nice facility although the restaurant and bar at the hotel were closed.

Good location, definitely 3 starPosted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: Bed, location.
Cons: Carpets could be vacuumed more thoroughly; the front office staff could do with an injection of enthusiasm
Location: Great shopping close by.
We stayed at this hotel on the recommendation of someone who stays there frequently. It was the perfect location for us - about 200' from the ferry terminal, and 750' from the shopping area. Our room was adequate without being fancy. It was certainly sufficient for our one-night stay. The restaurant was closed for the "off-season", but the bar was open. Great service by the barman. Bed was comfortable. I left my cell phone in my room (duh); the head housekeeper found it, answered my call, and was very good at following my requests with what to do with it. We appreciate her assistance a lot !
