We are happy to know that your stay was comfortable overall, and we hope you had easy access to everything you needed. We do regret the fact that your room smelled of cigarettes. We are a 100% smoke-free property and have rooms that are designated non-smoking, but, unfortunately, not all of our guests abide by our rule, and occasionally, as seems to have happened on this occasion, a guest will smoke in a non-smoking room. While we strictly enforce our no-smoking policy on hotel premises and have cracked down on those smoking inside the hotel in the past, it is a very tough battle. We thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and rest assured that we will address this with our housekeeping team and see to it that our staff does a better job of preparing/airing out the rooms moving forward. We have also noted your comment about the furniture, and we value your suggestion for improvement as it allows us the opportunity to enhance future guest satisfaction. For future reference, if there is ever an issue with your room at check-in, please do not hesitate to contact our front desk, who will be happy to move you to another room, if available, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Long standing issue, Rooms are NOT checked cleaned daily. Beds not made, garbage not removed and bathroom towels not replaced. The new installation of shampoo, body wash and conditioner dispensers present an injury risk to guests slipping when stepping out of the shower. Also no means to ensure no one has tampered them.

Front desk was super. I wasn't looking for a bar but the bar was wrll stocked with quality bottles. The restaurant next door looked nice but the Starbucks was closed and there didn't seem to be much else nearby; the two strip malls were unappealing.

We wish you had made our staff aware of this, as they would have gladly taken care of the issues and switched your room to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We will, however, look into this and conduct an investigation within our housekeeping and maintenance departments to correct any lapses in current cleaning and upkeep standards. Overnight stip
This was a stop over on a larger trip but ideal for us loved that there was a bar and food available in the evening as after a long journey we were not inclined to go out to eat. Staff very friendly

Quick overnight in Norwalk
Location is good and staff was helpful. It just is in need of updating. The rugs/lights are old. Paint was peeling in bathroom. And hallways looked tired. Bed was comfortable though and towels were ok.

Check in was quick. Breakfast was good… cost was high. Shower needs bleached where mold is growing. Quick fix with a spritz of bleach. Quite. Additional cost for small dogs is way too high.

At Hilton Garden Inn Norwalk, our aim is to deliver a superior experience at a fair price. Our guests usually find our pricing competitive as we do monitor room rates in the area to try and keep our prices reasonable for our guests. However, at certain times of the year, due to higher demand, prices do tend to increase in the area. Also, charging pet fees is standard practice across the hospitality industry. This is to cover the extra clean-up costs as proper cleaning aids are used in pet-friendly rooms. That said, we constantly work to ensure that any additional fee is priced in line with the other hotels in our area. We have also noted your comment about the shower, and we appreciate your suggestion for improvement. We have alerted our team to your feedback so that they can take immediate action to address the issue you have highlighted. On the plus side; good location, in-hotel dining, pool and fitness center, accommodating staff. On the downside; had to change rooms, water leaked in around the window caused part of ceiling to fall in, replacement room had door problem, the sweep was not attached correctly and rubbed severely on the floor, very hard to open and noisy.
