Phone system does not work correctly. Spend more than 10 minutes waiting for someone to answer the phone (rang over 100 times), and when they did pick up, they hung up on me twice. While staying there, TV did not work. Had to call maintenance twice. Finally switched rooms. Staff had almost zero concern for guest experience.

I don't get the bad reviews. Even with the construction, the hotel is nice. Do yourself a favor and ignore the reviews. The hotel is a great place to stay! Pool is good, exercise room also.... The hotel was clean when I stayed there; the staff was friendly and very responsive.

This place is always under construction! Couldn’t find front desk!! The man at the desk was very nice but some signage would help. TV didn’t work. Put us in a room for people with disabilities. Not what we asked for. We come to Stamford often and will be looking for a new place to stay. This isn’t a hotel. It’s a location for “events.”

Hotel lobby and most facilities closed for renovation. Made us pay for parking and walk extensive length with luggage to temporary front desk. Room was another long walk from alt checkin. The hotel staff were notably friendly and helpful, and I have no complaints in that regard. Regrettably, there was an issue with the plumbing system that resulted in the water from the tap, shower, and toilet appearing black/brown and gritty. Although the water was clear on the evening of check-in, the problem persisted the next morning, even after running the water for an extended period and multiple flushes. This was not a pleasant experience.

The restaurant and lounge was not open. That was also not advertised on the Hyatt website Conditions of elevators and hallways was dirty at best
