The towels were rough and dingy in color

Posted Oct 19, 2016
Location: There for UAPB homecoming.visiting my son who attends school there
Towels were rough and dingy in color. Other than that it was a nice stay. It was a 20 min drive to the nearest city. But overall a great hotel.....................................

Clean hotel in a small town; however, no elevator.

Posted Jul 20, 2016
Pros: Good breakfast. Hard beds.
Cons: Put in an elevator and keep air conditioner in hallway on while people are checking in.
Location: Across from Piggly Wiggly.
Comfortable king room with love seat. Only two floors but wasn't told that there was no elevator. Part of the time the air cnditioner was turned off in the upstairs hallway. Nice outdoor pool. Pretty good breakfast...no fruit or yogurt though. Few places to eat in town.

Comfy bed

Posted Jul 17, 2016
Our electricity went out so we spent the night at Americas Best Value Inn 12 miles from our home. Room was clean, staff friendly. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Only negative thing I can say is I thought it was a bit too high on room rate. But I gladly paid it rather than sweat the night away!

Quiet, Clean Respite from the heat....

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Quiet and clean.
Cons: Separate the smoking completely from the rest of the rooms.
Location: Quiet Arkansas town has a good restaurant/bait shop out toward the lake. Pizza, Subway, Sonic, Mexican Restaurant. Lake at state park.
This is a clean motel that we stay at when we have our family reunion each year. It is family owned and they take care of it like - it is theirs. Fresh, colorful flowers in the landscaping greet us when we arrive. The rooms are clean, which is my main concern. There is a grocery store across the street and a drug store where you can get real food from the deli - I got baked chicken and turnip greens and corn. If you are traveling into or from the Pine Bluff area as a trucker or guest, try this hotel for a reasonable rate and spend the night in a small town with a big heart.

Star City's Best (and Only) Motel

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: I really liked the price for one thing. It cost around $60 for a Saturday night stay, and that is wonderful in itself. The location was good.
Cons: The breakfast needs a little work...not much to offer there. Also, it should be more clearly marked where the entrance is, as there are 3 driveways.
Location: It is in the middle of nowhere, but that is a good thing. We discovered through some local friends the Village where you could eat and shop.
I like others was first surprised that Star City even had a hotel. It did turn out to be a pleasant surprise nevertheless, as we did enjoy the stay and the hotel was fairly nice. The room was ready upon check in, all utilities worked...it was just a nice, small town place to stay.

You could tell they were really trying to do well

Posted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: What I give them extra points for is having a multiple electrical outlet that was easily accessible and their wireless internet easy to connect to.
Cons: The walls were either a little thin or the people there were a little loud. I just left the t.v. on and then it didn't bother me.
Location: I was there on business but someone said something about the Village which has arts and crafts, homemade items, foods, etc. I believe.
I got in late that evening and was tired and hungry. Check - in was easy and the room was nice. I dropped off my items and went to a store just across the street and picked up some items and settled in for the night. It was an older t.v. but worked well. You could tell that they really tried to decorate the room nicely and there was a nice continuity to it. It had a nice paint job, was clean, had two nice prints on the wall, etc.

The hotel was very nice and close to my family.

Posted May 1, 2014
Pros: the staff, and location.
Cons: Update the appliances and Tv's
it was a good experience. The one thing that i loved was the location. They are directly across the street from a grocery, and dollar store, as well as down the street from a Sonic.
