Wonderful location! The property is tidy, tasteful, and perfectly situated...a home away from home.

Beautiful old world hotel in the center of downtown. Beautifully decorated, many nice touches in the room, plush towels, comfy bed, restaurant downstairs. It may be disappointing to look out the window at the wall of the building next door but the quality of the room makes up for it. And expect $30/day valet parking. Highly recommend!

Renovation in progress so difficult to properly assess

Terrible hotel. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff members. We had told them that there was rust leaking from the ceiling above the pool and they didn’t care. We also let them know that the elevator brakes sounded like they’re going out. All the from desk lady said was that we should have taken the stairs. The hallway to our room was dirty and the carpet was coming up. The room itself was incomplete. The carpet was so thick that the door wouldn’t shut. The “dead bolt” on the door was dangling because of the screws being loose. The bathroom door hit the toilet seat and would fully open unless the lid was shut and pushed back (the screws on the seat were loose). Not to mention the shower caulking was black and not due to the color choice. This hotel could have been a really nice place to stay but nothing was being kept up and projects were not complete. There was also not enough parking…. Staying here for four nights and we only got a parking spot at the hotel once. The rest of the time we had to park our vehicle next the crates in the back or on the steer. This place gets a two star from our family because of the lack of service, convenience, and safety hazards. It’s unfortunate because we would have like to stay in this area again.

The room was clean and the ac worked great. The only thing missing was a microwave. Friendly staff and a very welcoming atmosphere.
