Personalized experience

Small inn feel with personal touch. Breakfast every morning. A glass of wine at night in the beautiful lounge area and great walks and views of the golf course. I will continue to stay here on my visits to State College

A lovely Inn

This is the loveliest inn in which my husband and I have ever stayed. So lovely we wished we could have stayed another day. The staff are friendly and courteous, the lounging areas are beautiful and the food was excellent. The room was beautifully furnished, comfortable and quiet. I would recommend a stay if you are ever in State College, PA.

Amazing Hotel

We arrived later at night but the front desk clerk was extremely friendly, gave us a tour of the hotel and showed us to our room personally. Because it was a football weekend we also got cookies and a free tote bag from the hotel. It was a pleasant unexpected surprise. The hotel also has a bar that is open until 2am. It was very small but a wonderful place to get a nice nightcap. The room was lovely and clean. They also stocked the bathroom with toothpaste, mouthwash and an extra toothbrush (which was amazing since I had forgotten mine). The most unexpected surprise was that breakfast was included in our stay. The dining room was immaculate and we got to order off a menu (not just a general boring continental style buffet like most places offer. BTW, I had the quiche and I highly suggest it!) All in all, I wish we had stayed for more than just one night!

Wonderful restaurant. Very pretty grounds. Large room. Colonial décor is not my thing, but very comfortable room.

Lovely hotel and spa

Overall our stay was great and the spa services were very good. We did not get to sample the restaurant for dinner but breakfast was very nice. The room was also very nice but bedding in the room was very underwhelming. No comforters and just thin blankets. The bedspread on the bed was ripped. The inroom HVAC was also very noisy, Also all of the lights in the parking lot were out and when I brought this to the attention of the management they acknowledged the problem. I would definitely recommend this for a quiet get away.

However, allow me to apologize on behalf of our bedding and in-room units on your recent visit. I have shared your feedback with our ownership in hopes to update our bedding. Our maintenance department has fixed the parking lot lights. He had to dig 3 feet into the ground to find a bad wire, and it took a bit with the ground still a bit hard from winter. I do apologize about those issues during your stay. Again, thank you for your time and valuable feedback. A fantastic place to stay!

Superb lodging! Our room was very clean, homey and the bed, comfortable. The staff was the most accommodating (Thanks, again, Sam) that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The library room and fireplaces were like home, away from home. It's a great place to stay after the hustle and bustle of State College, i.e. very quiet. Our made-to-order, Chef-prepared, FREE breakfast, was excellent! We will definitely return, on a regular basis, to visit our friends and cheer for the Nittany Lions!

Great PSU Retreat

This is a gem in State College. Spacious rooms, friendly staff and excellent food. Golf course just outside. And best of all, close to the stadium and main campus!
