Perfect Hotel for Happy Valley Sojourn

Posted Nov 20, 2017
Pros: Smack in the middle of all the quant towns amenities. Facility is spotless.
Cons: Nothing
Location: The downtown area is packed with pubs, restaurants and shops. The university is charming.
Perfect facility. Hotel was centrally located in the state college downtown area. Walking distance to all the major shops and restaurants. Beaver and College Ave, the two major streets with all the action, are mere steps away. Professional staff and flawlessly maintained. Mad Mex restaurant located within the facility. Days Inn achieved a perfect score across the board. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I’m pleasantly surprised

Posted Nov 16, 2017
I didn’t catch the name of the lass who checked me in but I would use 1 word to describe my experience. Thorough. This young lady was thorough..WiFi password, where to park my car, where additional parking was etc. I know it sounds basic but rarely do people remember to give WiFi passwords let alone where to park if the lot looks full. What I liked most was that she anticipated questions before I even thought to ask them. I will be doing a lot more biz in State College and will totally stay Days Inn!

Walking distance to PSU

Posted Oct 16, 2017
Hotel was fine. My only issue was how all area hotels jack up their prices for parents weekend.

Great location - PSU

Posted Oct 16, 2017
We were greeted at the desk by several staff including the manager- they helped see if we were Wyndham members, found out number and upgraded us to a suite. Also told us about the lodging group and discounts. Bathrooms in this space are generally very small but the suite was super roomy. Also enjoyed the Mad Mex bar: restaurant. Great location- downtown and center of campus. The coffee is not our favorite and I would suggest a more sturdy hot cup or mug in the rooms- we will definitely be back!

Nice hotel close to downtown State College

Posted Oct 10, 2017
Pros: Friendly staff, accommodating, close to downtown
Cons: Larger bathroom vanity area
It was a great trip visiting with our daughter! The distance between her dorm and the hotel was very walkable! Made the entire long weekend more enjoyable being able to walk a rather moderate distance as well as knowing we were safe too!

Visiting PSU student

Posted Sep 24, 2017
This hotel was a block away from my daughter's residence this year. Hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful. Heated pool was a fun and relaxing way to end the day, even though it was not as warm as we would have liked (but we like it really warm - upper 80s!) We did not eat at Mad Mex but it had quite a crowd - my daughter had someplace else she wanted to take us. The bottle shop was convenient, even though we did not use it, but my daughter told us its her go-to place. We plan to use this hotel for all future visits.
