Nice hotel close to campus.

Posted Jan 30, 2017
Pros: Close proximity to Penn State Campus.
The staff was extremely warm and courteous. The room was very clean and neat. Every morning, they had a nice continental breakfast with a very attentive staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

In town for a Gymnastic Meet

Posted Jan 9, 2017
Pros: Location - close to Campus and easy Highway access.
Cons: It would be great if the rooms had microwaves and fridges.
Location: Close to Campus, not much to do in the immediate area. The town was small, the people were friendly. More eateries & shopping a few miles/exits away.
The family was in town for a Gymnastic Meet - the hotel was conveniently located, just minutes away from the University's Campus. Had easy Highway access, and centrally located. The hotel itself is a bit older, showing a few signs of wear, but was well maintained and clean. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. The staff was great, very accommodating and friendly. The hotel provides a nice hot/cold breakfast offering each morning, as well as a 24 hr Coffee/Hot Chocolate station - the coffee was always hot and fresh. There is a Sports Bar & Grill, sharing the same parking lot, within walking distance from the hotel's front door - great food and well priced. My only complaint would be - there were no microwaves, nor fridges in the room themselves. Overall - great place for the price, I'd come back and/or recommend to others.

Lived in this hotel for a few months while building a retail store awhile back. Felt like home and will always be my go to when in Happy Valley.

Pros: The staff, the room, and the breakfast were all great!
Cons: The sign wasn't easily visible from the road. There were some noisy people on our floor after 10 PM.

Basic hotel room

It was actually a little disappointing for a Hampton Inn. I almost always go for this chain because the price is great and the rooms are nice. This is definitely an older hotel, and hopefully they will update the rooms soon.

Comfy and clean

Enjoyed our stay - room was clean and comfortable. Only negative was the breakfast - no breakfast meat. Eggs and French toast were okay.
