Duped.

Pros: Restaurant was okay but there in a small town and therefore good . Great wait staff. Front folks really nice.
Cons: regrout the bathrooms and retile them.
Location: nothing.
I tried to get close to Penn State and the Expedia site said this was 11 miles. It was 29 and a long ride after getting my daughter set in for the night. The bathroom was filthy but not cleanable and the place was noisy. The folks working there were lovely.

Non-smoking rooms should not smell like cigarette

The first thing I noticed when walking into the room was the smell of cigarette smoke. I try to avoid smoking areas as it gives me a headache. I went to the bar to escape the smell however the outdoor sitting area was heavy with the smell as well.

We have designated smoking and nonsmoking rooms and also smoking areas. Unfortunately not everyone follows the rules. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The outside of the hotel shows some age, but the room was very nice. I especially liked that everything in the room was very clean.

Terribly disappointed in our stay. No work AC on one of the hottest days of the year. We are avid hikers and w a 1 year old camping was not something I wanted to attempt just yet. The pool had a dead frog. There were no pool towels and when we asked for more rooms towels bc we used our towels for the pool we were threatened with additional charges. There was no free breakfast or even a fridge. All I have to say is my compliments to the hotels photographer and the previous reviewers. We will not stay here again- we'll stay in Huntingdon. However the room was clean, TV working- nice flat screen, shower was nice and beds were comfortable.

Pros: proximity to state college, right off 322
Cons: facilities, rooms, cleanliness
The staff was extremely friendly and very good. The facilities need updating. The lock on our door was malfuctioning so we would have to use the key card 3 or 4 times while pushing in with our shoulder to get the door open. The pool wasn't very clean. We came back to our room to what looked like debris from the ceiling laying on our dresser. Check in and check out took longer than should have because we were told expedia did not charge us the full amount. I probably wouldn't stay here again with other options closer to state college.
