Dear guests, Please accept our apologies for failing to meet your expectations. Our staff works very hard to accommodate our guests needs. It was very disappointing to hear that you were unhappy. Had we know your were not satisfied with your room we would have been more than happy to move you to a room more to your liking. I apologize for restaurant being closed. As you know from staying here we are not a destination hotel and our business slows down during the holiday season. We have made significant changes to our guest rooms such as flat panel TVs, microwaves and refrigerators. We have future plans to replace the bedding and also add a breakfast room so that we can offer the Q Breakfast to our many guests. I thank you again for taking the time to comment on your stay.

Needs a major update

Posted Nov 7, 2016 on Hotels
The check in process was a bit slow because the clerk was new. Very pleasant man though. The rooms are OLD and the rugs were sagging and seemed dirty. The beds seemed clean as did the old bathroom. We were stuck for a last minute place to stay after a night game at Penn State. Next time I'll book in advance in a nicer place. This wasn't cheap price wise but I would have expected to pay more for much nicer accommodations.

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your stay. Our staff works very hard to ensure that all of our guests feel welcomed, have a clean room and a pleasant stay. We enjoy hearing from all of our guests. The comments you make whether good or bad help us to improve so that we might make all of our future guests stays more enjoyable. We are currently working on adding additional amenties to our guest rooms such as microwaves and refrigerators. We plan on upgrading the bedding by the spring of 2017. Please be sure to stop back and check on our progress. Hope you enjoyed the game. Best regards, Cathy A Collins, GM/CHA

Sufficient hotel for the area

Posted Nov 1, 2016
I attended a wedding at the Bell Mountain Estate in Lewistown. The hotel was very close to the location and close to other businesses. The room had basic facilities. The bathroom was small, but it served the purpose of the visit. The staff was helpful and our room was available before the check-in time, so we were able to check-in early.

Not great

Posted Sep 19, 2016 on Hotels
The place was okay. AC was noisy, Restaurant service in the evening was slow. We walked out on breakfast because we didn't see anyone in the 10 minutes we were there.

Disappointed.

Posted Sep 12, 2016 on Hotels
Very disappointing. It was overpriced for where we were. The hotel lobby was so dark you could hardly see. Ice makers were not working and had to get ice from main desk. Restaurant and bar was closed and that is one reason that we had picked that hotel. Would not stay there again.

Convenient and Clean.

Very good location near the highway. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Just avoid the restaurant. You wait FOREVER for the food, and when it comes it is not good.

Good for a one day visit

Posted Aug 27, 2016 on Hotels
Our room was a nice size. There wasn't much around to eat without getting back in the car so we tried the restaurant. It wasn't busy but we had to flag down the waitress for refills to our drinks. The food was just ok.

Restless stay

The carpet in the room and sheets on the bed were very damp and uncomfortable! Room was spacious but outdated. Hotel is located near the highway.

Quiet/Scenic

Posted Aug 23, 2016
Pros: Location and Room.
Cons: Ice machine was not operational.
Location: Did not do local sightseeing - so no comment.
Hotel is between local mountains with nice views. Room was excellent. Did not use their restaurant.

Bob, Thank you for staying with us at the Quality Inn & Suites of Lewistown. I apologize for the ice machine not working. This time of year they get used very hard. Our service vendor does have us on his schedule to repair the ice machine. Next time you are hear it should be up and running again. I am so glad to hear that other wise you did have a pleasant stay with us. Thank you again for commenting. Hope to see you again soon. Best Regards, Cathy A Collins, GM/CHA

Blast from the past

Posted Aug 15, 2016 on Hotels
The room was decorated with a very dated wall paper that the border was pealing off the top. The carpet was also dated and musty smelling. One of those carpets that you leave your shoes on. Bathroom linens were stained and toilet paper was single ply. Now the good, shower pressure was hot and steady. Hotel staff was moderately friendly. Has wifi, but was never given the password upon checking in. Arrived on a Friday and breakfast was only served from 6:30am to 9:30 am. Front desk will issue a 25% discount. Pool looked inviting, although never brought a swim suit. All shrubs and grass was dried and burnt from lack of water. Hotel is attached to a bar/ restuarant. Was expected to stay 2 days, but was glad to give up the second night to head home. Unfortunately, 1 of only 3 places to stay in Lewistown.
