Cons: heating is loud; parking is limited, there is no complimentary breakfast nor coffee, for $300 for one nite you should get that; need a shuttle to town
stayed one nite after a football game, staff friendly, few amenities and expensive

I am sorry we were unable to provide you with an enjoyable stay. As we do not offer complimentary coffee in the lobby due to having a restaurant attached, we do offer complimentary coffee in the rooms. I do hope you decide to give us another chance if your travels bring you back to the State College/Penn State area.

Hotel is a barain

Posted Nov 8, 2017
Pros: Price, bed and location
Location: Close to all State college attractions. Very good location
The other reviews are correct, a bit dated and a small bathroom, but for the price I would stay there again, comfy bed and a nice restaurant / bar next door. Good bargain

Convenient old facility

Posted Nov 4, 2017
Complex is spread out. Not handicap friendly. Although it is accessible - ramp and elevator available. Very old hotel and it shows. Food above average. Reasonably priced buffets. Staff very customer friendly and helpful.

Noisy and horrible room service.

Posted Oct 31, 2017
Noisy and bad room service. After making 3 mistakes on room service, I stopped calling to ask for changes. My room was right outside the atrium (most of the rooms are). They were taking down tables at 10pm when I had a presentation the next morning. It was very loud. It was loud every night I stayed. The front desk staff were nice

I apologize about the issues you had while staying with us. It is unfortunate that the room service was not done correctly and I will bring this up to the Restaurant Manager's attention. I am happy that you received quality service from the front desk.

Pros: the connected restaurant
Cons: minor face lift of the bathroom walls, way too much caulking spread in the corners of shower, very sloppy look, and maybe new weather stripping on d
I noticed spider webs in corners in main room next to the ceilings like room hadn't been used in awhile, and there was a crud looking dirt (maybe mold or mildew ) in corners where the bathroom wall tile base meet the floor. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, except construction workers looking for a cheap place out of town.

Affordable and Convenient

Posted Oct 29, 2017
Pros: Affordable price, convenient to Penn State, great free hot breakfast..
Cons: Desk chair back was uncomfortable. Room had a faint odor.
Location: Good sushi restaurant across the street.
I just needed a place to stay before an early-morning meeting the next day and this fulfilled my need very well.

The hotel is outdated and there is no amenities. There is no coffee or water available in lobby. I think this is standard with most hotels.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Needs total renovation!
Location: Penn state football game.
Room not ready at 4:00. Indoor pool area had odd layout with rooms all around it. So dated! Our room had no windows.
