Walked into room. Stink Bugs all over. Cleaning staff came and vacuumed them up. Came back into the room an hour later and more bugs in the room.

I would avoid this hotel...Posted Sep 21, 2015
Our stay was less than enjoyable. We checked in late at night and the process was quick and hassle free, which is about where the enjoyment of our stay ended. our room was old and outdated. we just wanted to go right to sleep, well thankfully we brought our own pillows because the pillows on the bed were very flat and lumpy. The bed itself seemed like a full (not a queen as advertised) and was not comfortable. Our room was very noisy - we could hear the people in the room above us whenever they moved and we we were put right next to the ice machine (which was very busy at 6am the next morning when the tailgaters were getting ready to leave for the game). In the morning my husband needed to iron his shorts and as there was no iron in the room, we called the front desk. My husband was told that he would need to come get the iron if he wanted to use it, which is not great service nor what we are used to. After we returned to the hotel (again late at night) we found there was no parking left in the lot. When we inquired at the front desk they said we could park in either a gravel lot with no lighting or just make our own spot in the lot. We were again woken up by noise early the next morning, so we decided to just get ready to leave. There was no water pressure in the shower, and As we were getting ready, we found TWO very large spiders in our room (one was IN THE BED!!!). we obviously left immediately. When we handed in our keys, the staff never asked how our stay was

Near Penn StatePosted Sep 16, 2015
Pros: It was convenient location in Mifflin Co.
Cons: Better breakfast, know how to get the money back out of the vending machine's when they don't work. Have some drinks available all day.
The workers didn't know how to get the money back out of the vending machine, the breakfast was almost all carbs, no frill place to stay. The headboards needed wiped down as they were full of finger prints. The hotel is old and showing age but it an ok place to stay as there are few hotel's in Mifflin County.

Very clean!Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Room cleanliness - Excellent Maid!
Cons: Improve dinginess in hallways and entrance.
Location: About 30 minutes from Penn State and about 10 minutes from Lewistown. Ate at great restaurant called the Waterfront about 10 minutes away.
The hotel itself seems a bit dated and dingy but I have to give major shout out to the maid they have cleaning the rooms, we stayed this past weekend in room 109 and the room was incredibly clean. More clean than I would have ever expected a room to be in this type of economy hotel, needless to say I was VERY happy to tip the maid. Otherwise, the hotel was in a very convenient location, right off 322. The entrance comes on a bit quick from the road, but fine. Adequate parking, very quiet (but that could be because the rest of the customers were quiet like us). It was a good value for the low price we paid.

Okay hotel, very helpful staffPosted Jun 3, 2015 on Hotels
We had asked for a non-smoking room with King bed and we got one the first of two nights we stayed there. The room smelled of smoke. The hotel staff was EXTREMELY courteous and helpful and showed my wife and me another room which was actually fine. The whole hotel is supposed to be smoke free but I guess the previous occupants had violated that policy. Overall, this hotel's fine for the non-fancy region in PA that it sits in, but no great shakes. $99 a night for what it has to offer is a bit of a ripoff, but I guess there's not much competition there.
