Not the best stay this time...

This wasn't my first visit to the Atherton, but it wasn't my best. First, let me say that I love the feeling of this hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the lounge a great place to get a glass of wine or something to eat. The common areas of this hotel are beautiful. I was disappointed this time, however, for a number of reasons. First, I didn't expect, nor was it mentioned, that I would be billed for parking. I would have liked to have known that. Secondly, the air condition unit in the room ran constantly and at times sounded like a jack hammer. Add that to the lack of room darkening shades (only blinds) and I was up to face the day at 5:30 a.m.-not what I had planned.

Our parking fee is clearly stated on your Expedia reservation information, as well as on the Reservation Card that you signed at check-in, as well as the parking pass that you put on your car. We are happy to provide a significant amount of private downtown parking at the lowest overnight rate in town!
