Comfortable lodging

Pros: Location, comfortable, breakfast.
Location: Manhattan is accessible by ferry. Shopping malls with major chains. Nature preserves.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a morning and evening shuttle service to the Staten island ferry. There is also a restaurant on the property.

Overall experience was good despite check in being a muddle. Make sure you have proof of your prior reservation and payments made as we were initially asked to pay again despite paying in advance. Room was clean but breakfast could use some variety but it was ok and filling to start the day. Nelson was very helpful and very pleasant! Thanks for lending us a phone charger! Free shuttle to and from Staten Island ferry is a bonus as it is quite a distance away. Ferry was a very nice experience to Manhattan.

Person at the front desk was sleeping,not friendly

Had to wake him up to get service, was told my card declined when expedia charge showed approved/pending so i had to call expedia to tell hotel it was approved, not friendly and very low quality of service. No plans to ever return here based on this type of treatment

Hotel is ok, you get what you pay for. Rooms were clean, the included breakfast was good. However we had rooms on the ground floor near Reception, the night clerk and security guard kept us awake all night with their loud talking and laughing. At times it sounded like a party was going on. When we complained they just said sorry then carried on. The hotel is also a £25 ride from the ferry by taxi each way. They do offer a shuttle bus but this only runs hourly. Would not stay here again.

Noisey Hotel

The hotel itself was clean and most staff were very friendly. The room was little but it was clean and cozy. The complimentary breakfast was served from 7-10. Starting around 7, we heard the loudness of doors opening and closing every 5 minutes. And I mean LOUD! You could hear the locking mechanism and then the door slam close, making it impossible to sleep. While at breakfast (which had a decent selection), the staff was slow to clean and refill empty products. Specifically, someone spilled juice on the floor and staff walked around it for at least 30 minutes. If you need a quick place to stay and wake up early you might do ok here.

Interesting stay

When we got to our room we had no towels we asked the front desk, their response we ran out you have to wait until tomorrow morning. What kind of hotel runs out of towels? Then the next morning the smoke alarm kept going off as soon as you open the door from taking a shower.

Room was a closet

The room was so tiny. When You opened the door the bed was 2 feet away. The 4 Walls maybe had 2.5 feet From the bed and that's all you had to walk was around the bed and into bathroom
