Staff need to quiet down

Overall very comfortable room. However two hotel staff talking very loudly at 4:30am. It didn’t bother me because I was up and heading into Brooklyn for a half marathon. But it must have been loud for other guests

Fun Trip

The hotel had easy access into and out of NYC with no toll fees. Most of the NYC parking garages were around $50 for all day parking. I also drove to the ferry and parked for $8 all day, then caught the ferry for free into NYC and use the subway that was close by the dock. This made visiting NYC more economical than paying more for a hotel room in the city. They had plenty of self parking in the hotel parking lot. There was a refrigerator in the room and the staff allowed me to use the microwave in the breakfast area anytime. The breakfast was awesome and even my picky eating daughter thought it was good. The area was nice and quite just minutes to accessing the interstate. The rooms were a little small but good for 2 people. The house keeping, kitchen staff, and front desk staff were very good. I will most likely book at this hotel for future visits to NYC.

Cons: Better management.
I will never stay at this hotel again.....EVER! Children were banging and screaming and jumping off stairs in the stairwell until after midnight. It took a phone call to the front desk to put an end to it and there wasn't any reason for that since the front desk was on the same level as all this chaos and noise so I am sure it was audible from the front desk.

Stolen identity

When we arrived, the front desk girl ask me for my credit card even do i told her that everything was paid. She ran it and than ask for it again and she ran it twice. The same night I took my dad out to dinner and my credit card didn't work, come to know that soneone was trying to steal my identity and try to used my card for the amount that i had paid the hotel. This was a package deal with air fair and rental car. For 2 days i was with out a credit card. I had to used other cards to finish my vacation in New York. Thanks to this woman. The next morning i went to complain about the situation and they told me that she was fired the same day that i checked in.. I will not stay in a place where they don't do a background check or where they don't take responsibility for their issues. I complained about it and there answers was o sorry she was fired...

Good Hotel, Would Stay Again

Pros: Great lodging while still relatively affordable, quiet location, ample parking, clean, nice beds
Cons: Stronger wi-fi signal needed
Location: There didn't seem to be a lot to do in the immediate neighborhood. It's tucked in a residential area. It's NYC though, get out and find something.
Check-in was quick and smooth, there was ample parking which I found extremely surprising given the location. I arrived very late in the night (4:30 AM) and was terrified that I'd not be able to find a place to park but there was more than enough space when I got there. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Number of channels were limited but you're in New York, you're not there to watch TV. It was somewhat distant from Staten Island Rail, and the closest rail station was somewhat distant from the Ferry, but given how reasonable the price is it was worth the trade-off to me to spend an hour on the trains to get to Manhattan. In all, the only truly negative thing I'd have to say about the place is that the wi-fi wasn't very strong for me in my second floor room. Everything else was extremely minor and on the balance it was a clean room with nice beds and fluffy pillows with a relatively spacious clean bathroom with good water pressure and decent towels. That worked for me.

Cheaper than Manhattan

Great option for visiting NY especially if you have a car. Staten Is ferry is free to Manhattan and a great tour and fun.
