Poor Customer Service

I'm mainly disappointed because of the desk clerk. His actions were considered disrespectful and rude. Through hotel.com, I reserved a non-smoking king size room, which the clerk confirmed. He placed me on the 2nd floor. I ask could I get the same room on the 1st floor because of previous knee surgeries. Afterwards, he continued to ask me at 6 times, do I smoke; and I repeatedly said No. Then, he repeatedly ask how many people would be in the room. Again, I responded the same, just me. While in the room, I noticed that the bed mattress was very hard and the pillows were like a sheet folded and then put inside of the pillow case. Since it was 6 pm and I just got off of the road, I went back to the desk and asked for an extra towel because I planned to take a shower that evening and another shower in the morning. He said that I didn't need another towel. The water pressure in the shower is extremely low. I was so disappointed in the clerks lack of customer service that I left the hotel at 2 am and got back on the highway traveling to Florida.

Clean and comfortable for the price. The hotel is in need of a total exterior painting. The owner was VERY helpful and did whatever was requested.

Concrete bed and pillows

The bed and pillows were hard as a rock . The rooms had a musty smell to them. No coffee maker in the room. The bathroom did not have shampoo or conditioner.

Cheap manager and Ice Bucket adventures

There was no coffee in the lounge in the morning.Secondly, the ICE bucket is a very low quality construction, which is ok, but here is why happened. I took the flimsy bucket with me because I used it for some ice and drinks we had. (ok my bad) but the manager kept calling me up demanding that I turn around from where ever I was to return this important piece of equipment, because the refrigerator won't work with out it!!! An Ice bucket, for gosh sakes!! When I told him I was 2 hundred miles away and not going to return his $2 flimsy ice bucket, he threatened to report me for destroying his room. I told him to go ahead and do it.

Got what I expected

I knew that this hotel was older and did not have great reviews. I was hoping for clean, quiet and safe. I got all three. I would recommend only if I could tell them more about it

Neu möbliertes und frisch renoviert

Das Inn liegt in der Nähe der Autobahnausfahrt und trotzdem ruhig an einer lokalen Straße. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Zimmer war groß und schön. Uns fehlte nur ein Heißwasserbereiter im Zimmer. Es gibt jedoch in der Rezeption Kaffee bis 9.30h. Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt auf der Durchreise in den Norden.

Unsatisfactory

We thought we had made reservations for Days Inn. First time to make reservation via internet. Bed was hard. We think we just slept on box springs it was so hard. Upon request they made coffee. No breakfast of any kind. Sorry this was a Motel Six comparison.
