Very convenient location to the Georgia Southern Campus. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We have made this our "go-to" place every time we stay in Statesboro.

We went into it knowing it was a local hotel property and had read some bad reviews but heard they did a facelift so we booked a room for a parents weekend. While the outside is freshly painted I can see the negative reviews for the inside. There is a sign on pool area that says closed for renovation so I joked with the staff member checking us in and was informed it's been that way for years. Oh ok. Heading to the room its abundantly clear that they need a update on the inside too. Stained carpets, walls that need a coat of paint but not dirty. Well then we get to the room. Huge stains on the carpet, missing chunks of the linoleum flooring, the grout in the shower looks like a 6 year old did it, rusted and brown sink and shower faucets. Nothing extremely dirty but completely dated and in dire need of a refresh. The only thing we did cringe at was the dirty q-tips and hardened French fries in the slot where there should have been tissues. We went in knowing its not a 5 star hotel and was priced for it accordingly. Still better than other hotels in the area for sure. Could be so much better with an interior facelift (paints cheap...do a floor at a time). Overall we would stay again for a football or parents weekend as we just need to room to sleep and get ready for events and it plenty sufficient for that.

We stayed in room 102. Aside from the blue wall our room looked nothing like the pictures. The floor was not carpeted. It was dirty and so sticky. You could physically see and feel where stuff had been spilled on the floor and not been cleaned. I had to go to the front desk and ask for Clorox wipes to clean the floor. They didn’t have any so the front desk attendant gave me some floor cleaner and I went back and semi cleaned our room. The lampshade was completely broken and no longer on the lamp. The furniture had chunks and pieces missing from being so abused. The doorway into our room and the bathroom were rusted. The lighting over the bed next to the window didn’t work. In fact the button was completely missing and your finger can slide all the way in there. Would hate for a kid or adult to get injured or stuck. I usually don’t complain about the little things that happen when we stay somewhere, but this was more than a little. And also be aware that the pool is closed for renovations which is completely fine. The snack, soda, and ice machine are located on different floors as well meaning if you want ice you have to go to this floor and if you want a drink you have to go to another floor. The young lady working the front desk was very nice, but we won’t be back.

We had a late flight we called premise and spoke to staff Cindy she ensured we could check in late due to flight. Drove 4 hours with our children to hotel for Jason to be really mean and turn us away without even given me and my children a room the night which was paid for. No accommodations nor personality of care. Hotel inside smells and very filthy. Staff os very rude. Please if you and your family are tracking do not use this hotel it’s a waste of money.

I do apologize for this but unfortunately we do not have a Cindy or a Jason that works at this property. I did see a note that you called and said you would be arriving between 11 pm and midnight. Unfortunately our check in time ends at 2 am. If you had called and said you were going to be later than 2 am we would've been able to help you out.

I stay at this location each time I’m in town. Staff is always kind and accommodating. Far enough away from the center of town that it’s quiet and easy to get in/out, close enough to get anywhere (store/food/gas) within a minute or two.

This was the worst hotel that I ever stayed in. Nasty everywhere from the lobby to the room. We took pictures as well. We had no air conditioner and no hot water to top it off. I was contemplating on sleeping in my car. We were so disappointed and will never stay there again.

Very dated property and not very clean. Bathroom had hair on the floor, toilet and wall. Dusty and dated phone was sticky. Wouldn't recommend staying there. Very surprised since it's right next to Georgia Southern University and lots of family visit their kids.

Eagle's nest is no frills. They have been working on the hotel, and I give them props. The beds were hard, and the pillows were the size of sofa pillows. It was a bit like sleeping on bricks. There were patches in the wall that were not painted but it was clean and what I needed.

I stay here every time I travel to the area. I don't need a pool or amenities; just a clean place to stay. The beds are very comfortable, everything works, no extras. Love the make up remover pads. If I stay for more than 1 night, I just ask for extra pads or coffee for the maker and no problem.Would be nice to have a tv listing.

The first room had a mattress stain which could be seen through the sheets. There was a dead roach inside room. The clerk was nice and found us another room.
