Got locked out of room, room heat was off when arrived (took 2 hours to warm up), hot water (took a long time to heat up, then was to hot or too cold, hard to adjust and sink had real low pressure) alarm clock did not work, telephone might or might not work, refrigerator vibrated loudly in the night, no carpet, floor cold, wood laminate flooring needs repaired, has weak spots and dirty, Tub needs repairs, Bathroom fan extremely loud, Some lights out, one room needed toilet paper, Sheets and towels did appear to be clean. Would Not stay Here Again!!!!

The place is in horrible shape, moved to 3 different rooms to find one we would stay in. Extreme damage to rooms and floors from flooding and rains, even the main lobby floor. furniture damaged and broken, walls damaged things missing, sinks and tubs and toilets dirty. We was cold wet and tired to hunt for other motel or we would have. Worse experience I have had in years. Was not worth the money at all. Carpets torn up floors soft and buckled caving in. table tops and dresser drawer -you could write your name in the dirt and dust - NOT KIDDING. Some drawers broken, could not open.We wanted to go, but, to tired to hunt other place in cold -rain- and traffic on a friday night.Manager kept moving us to other rooms, trying to help, Admitted to all the damage. She was a nice lady, older lady, said had no help in keeping up with the place.1 cleaning girl and 2 men for entire hotel. She seemed very sorry for the conditions. Look like hotel stayed 80-90% empty while we was there. We should get our money back. BAD-BAD BAD- experience. My WIFE and SON very upset the entire stay.Manager say trying to have a contractor come in after holidays to start fixing floors and damage.House keeping seem to be worked to pieces.NO PLANS to stay there in future. we do have other trips to area, BUT, WILL-NOT be staying there.I think we should had left, just to tired and jammed schedule. Manager sorry for the mess.We deserve a refund.

Never Again!

Posted Nov 7, 2018 on Hotels
As a returning customer i was very upset and will never return!! I booked through hotels.com. I arrive at the Days Inn & she tells me i have to pay a 100. deposit on the room. I asked since when? Ive stayed before & never had to pay a deposit. The rooms are not up to date or nice enough to ask for deposit. I would of had to wait for my money back on my card, that i already paid for the room so i payed the deposit & she asked if i would like to look at the room first. I said for the price it should be up to standards. I was tired cold and my food was in the truck. I get in the room and really disgusted. Heres the list.... Molded black shower curtain/broken shower rod. Water went from my setting to extremely hot having to jump out the shower. Mirror & sink fixture full of toothpaste scum from last guest. Sink pieces setting on the counter. Remote didn't work for tv. A very thick layer of dust on everything. Spelled like bug spray. Carpet hasnt been vacummed in months. The only good thing was the comfort of the bed. Not enough to return though!! Reminds me of a rundown motel.

Room smelled. Lamp shades were all peeling as well as the ceiling where it had leaked. Floor was dirty and uneven. Topper was the black mold on the shower curtain. Would not recommend.

This started out being the hardest hotel to get to. The town itself is a very confusing place to drive around. We could see the Hotel, but couldn't see what road to take to actually get to the hotel. We turned down dead-end streets, no outlet streets and finally went through a restaurant parking lot that had access to a road that got us finally to the hotel after traveling all around the hotel for 15 minutes getting more frustrated with each turn. We checked in with absolutely no problem. We were told were the room was but at this point we were exhausted. We got in the car to drive to the room and discovered that the office area is not connected to the rooms. We ventured over to the room area, but at this point didn't know if we were even going to the same hotel or not. We then got thinking that the breakfast room is in the office area and in the morning we either had to walk or drive the car to the breakfast area. In cold weather, this was not a pleasant aspect. The room looked as if it had been updated, but we quickly learned that the vinyl flooring in the room had not been swept or mopped recently as there were candy wrappers on the floor that definitely did not belong to us, plus if I walked barefoot, dirt stuck to my feet. So either socks or slippers were necessary. My daughter-in-law decided to take a shower, which after a 10 hour drive was desperately needed and welcome. I have much more that I could add, but have run out of characters.
