Pros: location
Cons: needs to be renovated/upgraded.
Was told we would have a fireplace, and that was not the case. Room did not live up to expectations. Hotel is a bit outdated, but great location to the slopes.

Comfortable and Cozy

Since this was our first trip to Steamboat we weren't sure where to stay. Choosing the Sheraton was an excellent choice. We got a lot for the money. They have a shuttle to take you into town and the staff was always spot on with their recommendations. The only negative was the breakfast service in the little cafe. Since it's the off season, their regular restaurants weren't open for breakfast. We sat for more than ten minutes before we were offered coffee. We ended up going somewhere else.

Great place to stay!

We just had a quick night stay. had a wonderful dinner and excellent apple pie at the restaurant. great drinks and great staff.

Hotel was clean along with the room. Staff was friendly the only problem I had was that even though the bed was comfortable the pillows weren't at all I asked for extra pillows and still didn't feel as though the pillow had any stuffing in it very flat.

Great weekend getaway

I love staying in ski resorts during the off season. The service is great and you get to check out the lodging at a reduced rate. The only reason I gave the cleanliness a 4 was because a toilet seat box was left in the room when we arrived. We just put it outside the door. Even though many restaurants are closed in the village the hotel had great dining options and downtown was quick bus ride away. Sitting on the terrace enjoying the view and hiking up the mountain were highlights of our trip. We will definitely book the Sheraton again.

I won't return

Location: right at the base of the mountain - but in a very crowded area - hotels everywhere - something a bit further away from the lift would have been better
Poor at best - not clean - no view - disappointing room. ( I went in low season /very quiet ) No valet/ or help with bags. Elevators filthy / really bad. Work out room very disappointing - no TVs - no hand cleaners or cleaners for the machines. Staff inadequate
